Thank you for the comment! Yes it is possible to use guitar effects with an eleuke. I do it depending on what type of song I'm doing and with which band...(i.e. Rock band, Fuzzbox, compressor, flanger. Reggae: Delay, super chorus, Wah. Etc.) You may have to adjust the effects to stop the occasional feedback but all n all it sounds really awesome! Try it and let me know how it goes! =)

Thanks very much for sharing this. I am looking at picking up this brand in concert size. How is the action/setup on this? How is the sound through the headphones?
You're welcome senator. Actually this particular eleuke has excellent sound when plugged into an amp. (Which is how I have it here.) I shortened down the frets for more action but it alrerady comes with the string action pretty low already. All in all it is a pretty good lightweight ukulele worth picking up. =)
Thanks for the valuable info. These are pretty much available only online where I am and I hate to commit to one without hearing some good words from current owners.
hey im lookin to buy an eleuke and was just wonderin how much sound u can get out of it acoustically... or if you pretty muchhave to have an amp....thx...great playin btw!
It's pretty quiet acoustically. I think it's meant to be used with an amp. But you cant beat the sound when it's plugged in! Thanks for the comment! :D
Wholly krapz! I sooooooo luv dat Eleuke, mustah cost a fortune, lol, the sound is awesome! and excuse my language but "I fricken luv dis rendition!!"... What band do you play with? did you or are you gonna make any c.d.'s??
Hi Ed! long time no hear! How are you sir? Thank you for the wonderful comment. This Uke is called a Eleuke. It's tiny but when paired with a amplifier, whoa! It has big sound.:D
One of my favorite songs from my high school days! Great arrangement, and I like that final baby finger strum leading to your trademark shaka! Thanks, bro!
Is it possible to plug a eleuke into a electric guitar amplifier? If so, can you also use distortion effects and effect pedals? BTW great song ;)
