  • hes a real pretty skier:)

  • This is the sickest skiing in history... rare footage a a rare athlete doing something that not many people do.

  • when was that?

  • lacanau is such a nice place to ski,it makes 58km/h feel like 49km/h! the water is like silk!

  • did he get the second buoy?

  • was the WTO problem , the camera runs out of batery

  • He reminds me of Joel McClintock.

  • Favorited.

  • what kind of boat is riding behind, i know he is sponsored by tige but doesnt he say he was riding behind a malibu during the interview

  • @Riddick51PB you an idiot he has the world record and he has got the second ball fully you fucking tard that record is his and no one elses

  • JB is the bomb. Cameras and politics, what else would you expect from a tournament in France? Aaaaaaaa, eeeerrrrrrrr, we just had a world record run but the guys on the AV crew were, aaaaa, aaaaa, they forgot to plug it in. Sorry Jamie.

. . . it was fun! That's what it's all about after all.

  • water sik pro and nice pictures :)

  • Nope he got 1 1/2 he didnt get back to the wake on 2 ball

  • an unreal skier! he is just as amazing on a mountain bike!

  • officially scored as 1.5 at 43' off (58Kp/H) 36mph. however, still a superior performance and nearly a world record.

  • no, officially scored 2. The WTO didn't approve it as world record due to camera problems... that's all :)

  • "That's all"? That could be a mighty big "that's all." It is my understanding that the IWSF is the ruling body for water ski world records. Am I mistaken? Anyways, I've maintained they should have 3 cameras to validate world record performances in case one camera is kaput. Can you show me the tournament link where Jamie scored officially 2 @ 43' off, the AWSA should have the score on their tournament list, as I think it is a World Cup Event.

  • yeah, Scinauticando is right. he clearly got through the boat guides after ball 2, with the handle in his hand and with control of the ski, making it 2 balls.

  • WRONG. if it were officially scored as 2, we'd have a new world record. i've skied tour events and am very clear on the rules pertaining to our sport.

  • Not sure I could ever do that even with 43 ON!!!

  • stop it at 1:39

  • why 1:39?

  • because he lays the handle in the water...

  • check out 0:54 -> 0:56 on 6th at 39.5 off. Looks like he does it there too?

  • 43 off wow.

  • i know him!!! lol awsome Jamie! check my vids

  • wow amazing!

  • Is it 2@43 even if you can´t get behind the boat before the 3rd buoy???

    Nevertheless: UNBELIEVABLE...

  • he got back... barely. he hits the wake just before that third bouy

  • @25three If you get on the outside of buoy 2 and fall, it's 1.25, if you get back inside the buoy it's 1.50, and you have to get all the way inside the boat buoys by number 3 to score a full 2. In this case, he did score 2, but i think he got denied the official record due to some camera problems or something. I still see him as the record holder though.

  • what where his fin settings?????????????

  • Jamie is a frekin nutcase hes awesom!!!! at 43 off the rope is 5 feet short of the boy... Thats bloody crazy!! and jamie is way cooler than andy maple

  • Will asher all the way *cough cough*

  • totally sic. its almost inposible ffs :P hehe

  • 35 off is the skier from him or from boat?

  • it just means "35 feet off of a 75 foot rope."

So, obviously, the rope would b 40 feet long, instead of 75 feet...

  • yah but no one will ever be as good as andy maple sure there are some really good skiers but andy was great at what he did he was the best

  • what does 35 off or "2@43off 2/58/9.75"(the title) mean?

  • 35 off means 35 feet off of a 75 foot rope. 2@43 off means 2 balls at 43 feet off a 75 foot rope. 2/58/9.75 means 2 balls/58kph or (36mph)/9.75 meters (32 foot rope, which is 43 off of a 75 foot rope.

  • thanks

  • im guessing 2 is how many bouy's he went around, and 43 is how many feet is taken off the 75 foot rope, and the shorter the rope, the harder it is to cross the bouy's, cause u have less time to make it around the next one. lol i dont even waterski and i know that. i wakeboard tho

  • yea someone already answered me and thanks for stating the obvious pal

  • ok, sorry, i didnt see it, u dont have to be a douche about it

  • "lol i dont even waterski and i know that." i was being a douche? neither do you huh?

  • Correction: You do NOT have less time to make it around the next bouy as the rope gets shorter. The time remains the same. What you do have is greater distance to travel, due to the tighter arc a shorter rope brings with it.

  • ya, whatever, u have to cut faster to make it to the next bouy, so same thing in my book.

  • Well then again, I am on a Radar RS1

  • How do you like that RS1 Im thinking about getting one!!!!

  • Got my ski signed by him! WOOT!

  • jamie is the man!!!!!!!!!

  • na bam...oida.....fix-der is draf...owa der soid amoi ins soli gehn!!!

  • I can't believe how he held on after ball 2

  • he's Jamie... :)

  • Frank Slabbers but he's a little old for a skier 42 so he can't make it to the worldchampionships anymore but he in holland..poeh! haha

  • he skied the world record 43 off in lacanau just a week before my dad was there! cool, isn't it! but my dad skis 39 off!!

  • well... your dad is a great skier still!!!

    Who is he?

  • BAMF!

  • Sei un mostro!!!!

  • that was fricken amazing

  • god damnit... the 41 is just great. now... lets see who gets the 2 1/4... that is gonna need some balls!

  • he runs through 35 like it's nothing
