Haha! It was a good run compared to mine when I barrel raced =D But of course I only ran the barrels for 6 months! We usually ran smaller patterns and my average time was a 17.1...not so good haha, but my fastest time was a 16.3, which was mine AND the horse's record time!
Okidokee then! Lol. It was just a bad day that day. He did good in every other event but he and I sucked in that one. We're used to flying through them but, yeah. Lol. It's a real competition so if I didn't run home, I wouldn't have gotten anything! Lol

There is nothing wrong with that! Lol. I used to be teased too because I did Dressage. My sister and mom did Western, they didn't pick on me, it was everyone else. But now, because I rode Dressage before Western, I have the best balance in the world! Lol.
Exactly! Lol! I believe that if you learn english first you can ride anything! Lol! My dad even picked up off me the heels dow & the posting trott! *He rode western all his life & never posted before. He saw me do it, tryed it hinself & he licked it ever since! XD*
LOL! At least he knows now! Does he do it on the correct diagonal? I never post in a western saddle, but hey, a lot of people do! Lol. He never put his heels down??
Idk. He's been over seas for a few months so I forgot how he does it. & when he stared learning what happend was his mom got him a pony on christmas, stuck him in the saddle & he figured out the rest from that.
That's cool. Kind of like me and Barrel racing. I think I took 2 lessons with Neila, my trainer/ranch owner/friend, and I took them with her to figure out how to get, at the time, Star's shoulder to pick up, then, when I had that, I figured the rest out on my own, with a little pointers here and there.

Thanks! It was a horrible run! Lol. I believe we got a 22. His average time is a 21 or a 20. This is his worst event! Lol

Awesome! I run only big courses. When I ran a small course on my old Paint mare, I got a 15 :)
