Halo takes much more skill because it takes more than a pistol shot on the character's big toe to kill them... Good players can whoop your bum if you shoot their back without being ready to kill them, Call of Duty is fun but not as much as Halo.

Halo has an amazing game engine with multiple customizability options for both the gametypes and its maps... It's this customizability which allows the community to create these amazing gametypes. Something Call of Duty players cannot understand.

It just takes more brains. Any asshole can sprint around and tap a button when they see someone, but not everyone can coordinate an attack and hold down an area of a map or create a choke point for the opposing team. Not everyone possesses the ability to perfectly time a grenade throw in order to stick someone from quite a distance away. Not everyone has the coordination to drive something as slippery as a Warthog and be competent.
