I have a feeling that our views on "eternity" are very different. The way I see it is that I won't be "there" for eternity, "there" meaning in that state of mind we are presently in or are striving for. so I do not wish to be anywhere for eternity, I accept change, and change is inevitable. "everything that has a beginning has an end"
this life we are experiencing is not eternal, we will die! and when we do... well, simply put, we will change. I will not be in this state of being for eternity. as the Buddah says, nothing is permanent. I do not feel a prisoner following the path I've chosen, I accept it, because I have chosen it.

Maybe "something is wrong here" is just a sense of confusion about the past? Maybe "clinging" is just a manifestation of the confusion that can lead to healing? How does one "move forward" when they are unsure about the Path they have been following? Wouldn't this "clinging" be the manifestation of "taking responsibility" so that the 'next step' isn't repeating the past?

I've searched "other faiths" and I believe what is taught in the Bible is truth. Jesus wasn't a denomination and so I don't belong to one. We are all seeking. We are all hoping to find something that answers our questions. I've found it. I hope you do too.

All I heard is some guy talking and, saying nothing. The very little that DID stand-out, I could relate to, or was reminded of, Scripture. At one point in my life I would have accepted, or meditated on this "type of teaching". But now, this teaching is far from the truth. Which begs the question, "What is truth?" (John 18:38)

yes I want to be at one end of the spectrum, in fact that's what I'm striving towards. I don't want to be at the negative nor the middle. As far as who wants to be in either state for eternity, all I can say is that this life is not forever, so wishing for such a thing is silly IMO.

I have a feeling that our views on "eternity" are very different. The way I see it is that I won't be "there" for eternity, "there" meaning in that state of mind we are presently in or are striving for. so I do not wish to be anywhere for eternity, I accept change, and change is inevitable. "everything that has a beginning has an end"

this life we are experiencing is not eternal, we will die! and when we do... well, simply put, we will change. I will not be in this state of being for eternity. as the Buddah says, nothing is permanent. I do not feel a prisoner following the path I've chosen, I accept it, because I have chosen it.

Maybe "something is wrong here" is just a sense of confusion about the past? Maybe "clinging" is just a manifestation of the confusion that can lead to healing? How does one "move forward" when they are unsure about the Path they have been following? Wouldn't this "clinging" be the manifestation of "taking responsibility" so that the 'next step' isn't repeating the past?
It must be considered: a psychopath gains advantage if they can get those they've abused to "let go" and "live in the present"

I agree that we all have to take personal responsibility to create a better world. We can't just go around blaming others when we don't have a look at our own lives and start changing ourselves. There are things that we can do but we need to try to understand and be aware of the things which we do which are negative for ourselves and and others and try to change those things.

It is those who are asleep whom are the true enemy. If you are above the age of being a child, there are no innocents in this. The New World Order will continue to irritate until a mass consensus has formed to carry the mass will of the people in a new direction.
