I am not a Vitas fan. I don't say the man is not talented but his style does not suit my taste ,he sounds too breathy and hooty, his whole approach too gimmicky. I have never been impressed by his singing but his command of a stage is masterful. He sells it with loads of star quality.Hate the voice though.

Turmion Kätilöt. even eluviete who sing in a dead language gaulish. so no the lyrics are wonderful in russian as to which i think it should stay

He won't do it not because he is a nationalist. Between music and lyrics is a perfect osmosis. The poetry load can be expressed perfectly only in Russian.

@CrystyanoR9 to many fame means nothing, the emotion and meaning of what they write and perform is far more important to them than is money or fame. You would have to have greater deapth than you do to understand this, just like many people you are consumed with greed and popularity. English is so very crude, other languages have many words that translate into just one word in english so there is alot of lost meaning and emotion when music is translated. It is as it should be...in Russian.
