  • all I want to know is where can I buy a legit iQue ds lite?

  • @emilner5 Year that's right - iQue is a company managed by a scientist. I'm also pretty sure that fighting against piracy is one of the reasons, but I wonder why Nintendo has to make a joint venture with such a company. Why don't they just open a Nintendo of China office? Is it because of the regime? (But it's relatively open for business now) Or is there some kind of restriction like South Korea had till 2002(2004?) and Thaiwan still have.

  • @Jsemdebil Yes, it's a restriction. Video game consoles have been banned in China since the year 2000. That's why there's piracy there. What I'm wondering is iQue going to make a iQue 3DS? Nintendo said at E3 that the 3DS would try to curb piracy. China should at least make a law that makes the 3DS legal in China.

  • ique is dependable unless it's a ripoff ique!! lol

  • they did this cause of the fakes being sold in china. so people there know which is real and/or fake

  • Yeah, thats real.

  • yep, it's legit.

  • scary... XD

  • Nintendo has made a joint-venture with a chinese company called iQue. The task for iQue is to sell Nintendo products in China. Maybe due to legal restrictions, maybe goverment restrictions or I don´t know, it is always called iQue. iQue DS, iQue DS Lite, iQue Gameboy Advance, iQue Player. It has the same functionality as a normal DS plus it can play chinese games. The normal DS can´t.

  • @Jsemdebil does that mean that ique is part of the nintendo company? and ique is not a copyrite of nintendo company?

  • @MapleFreak1298 It means they work together.

  • @Jsemdebil Nintendo started iQue with a Chinese scientist to stop piracy there.

  • wdf?

  • lol bootleged DS

  • No, the Nintendo ds is actually called iQue DS in China. They also got a console that's called iQue Player that's essentially a Nintendo 64 built into a controller.

  • no, its licensed
