  • Good morning, everybody. What's happenin'

  • i don't know why they changed this i always liked it.

  • Tilt A Whirl and In A Mellow Tone were great Fred Norris picks for show intros. Howie's choice of Great American Nightmare..not so much.

  • Heard this in the a.m. for years and years and years. Good memories

  • I remember Howard always read commercials over Booker T and the MG's greatest hits album.

  • Benjy's got herpes?

  • this one was good but i liked the one before it better.

"in a mellow tone" by Duke Ellington

  • hey now

  • Good opening theme

  • I totally forgot about this! Great bit of nostalgia. Thanks mastertube!

  • 'good mornin' everbody....'

wow, this takes me back. they played the best music to lead into commercials too. it gave stern a real new york flavor.

  • Fred usually picked the music and sound bites that appeared before the show started. Later Howard wanted music that was more contemporary.

  • I don't know why the negative response, but it was actually Fred that played this theme out of the blue and Howard liked it, and actually stuck with it.
