Hi Marssel, may I ask you what you are feeding your rays? I have 2 Potamotrygon Motoros but I'm not sure if they eat (enough). Handfeeding will be the best solution for that (and it's kinda cool too! ;))

no offense but when you took this video, it seems you were feeding them chunks of food that were TOO BIG, jsut cus hteir body size is alot wider than the food doesnt men their mouth is that big, you realize msot of the rays internal organs are in that central uprisen lump in the center of their body, their mouth doesnt stretch from fintip to fintip ya know

@customlegokarl Oh yes they will. I have one and i experienced everything. They will shed their stinger and regrow a new and bigger one wen they grow. And i knew a shop owner that cut off the stinger, next month or more he freaked out the ray and got stung. So yes they do look it up

Need more infor. What size tank? Substrate? Other fish in the tank? You really should have done research before buying a stingray if you don't even know where they feed. Stringrays live at the bottom of the tank as well as feed at the bottom of the tank. Sometimes when their trained you can get them to come up top and take food from your hand. How long have you had him? I would suggest treating him with prazi pro. Buy it and read the directions.

Good luck. Never feed goldfish they carry diseases. I did see you feed an aro a boil shrimp... Don't cook it, it loses nutrients. Just make sure the tail is cut off. Your motoro will eventually eat the shrimp too. Just make sure to cut it in small enough pieces.Lots of rays arrive with parasites, a few of mine did and after a couple of days of treatment they were eating like pigs.

@smileycheek07: an inactive ray is a problematic one. If you bought one without research and are looking for info on Youtube--you've come to the wrong place. I doubt your ray is still alive, but if it is, then you figured out you need monster filtration and pumping it up with bloodworms to give it a fighting chance.
