@JimClonk I have considered fraps but seeing as camstudio is recording SM64 with decent quality I might stick with that for now. But fraps is definately an option.

is there any free programs that can make green screens besides Sony Vegas 8.0 pro? i have tried using that a million times on those dumb tutorial videos it never works for me i have windows XP so i bet it doesn't work for mine though but isn't there just any program that can do green screen effects besides Sony Vegas 8.0 pro??

I don't know about "noobs" But if you make everything in M64 green, Use the Chroma key effect thats in a movie maker thats NOT windows movie maker then you have a green screen. Its not as easy as you think, with getting mario in the right position for the background.
