  • this is a great video, I am italian , it is neat to see , you dont see much about other languages, Day is Spelled Giorno gio is a joe sound. with rolling 'r' sound.

    anyway, GOOd morning is buon Giorno, hello, good day. etc. we need programs to let children about other languages too!! and yes to "Come Stai", that is right!!

  • I saw the entire show hoping to here my name and all those yeard hey never mentioned my name. At 42, I'm still scarred :-) Seriously the best kids show ever. Thank you Carole and Paula.

  • Come sta is a formal way to say "How are you"... come stai is informal, with friends & family, etc.

  • It does actually mean "How are you", but it should be "come STAI", not "Come STA" but whatever...

  • I'm turning 40 this week, and was thinking of the good old days as a kid. Magic Garden popped in my head, so I typed it in -not expecting any results. Boy was I surprised!

  • i thought 'Come Stai' meant, "how are you," and Ciao is hello, so shouldn't it be, 'Ciao, come stai" oh screw it who cares.

  • Actually Hello is Bonjourno, Come stai is how are you. Ciao is good bye or hello, mostly goodbye though
