You'll note I didn't shoot anyone at the "hull breach, get down" part, I just tossed two flashbangs and basically just kept my head down while my team wasted everyone up to the stairway.

The two primary points there are

a) Crouching behind the seats and throwing two flashbangs

b) Immediatly running to the wooden cover and proning down. When you pass that line, your squad members will waste everything on that floor up to the stairway.

I hadn't tried doing this on Vet because of how I've heard so many people bitch about it being immensely hard. I watched this vid twice and then it took me 3 tries to do it. Like Shikari said above, if you notice the "Objective Updated", it means that the level just started.

As far as enemy count and toughness is concerned, note that I use the friendly AI to kill most of the enemies, and I don't get hit but one time near the end - and when it hits me, I redline immediatly.

Trust me, it's Veteran. Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean other people can't. :)

Yeah, and also it has enough bullets to get you through to the end. Others discharge quickly, and reload slowly, and are ineffective. Pistol's really the only way to go, unless you want to pick up and drop things (which adds a whole random element to a level that's pretty hard without needing extra luck to complete it)

I can't, it fails the mission and tells me something along the lines of "Only pussies don't shoot for the vital points".

But you can tell it's Veteran by seeing the timer is only 59 seconds, and by the fact that the one time I do get hit, it redlines me immediatly.
