  • Have you tried running the bittorrent client on the router? I wonder if it can handle all the sessions. Would be fun to see the cpu usage. I see the memory usage in your case was almost nothing.

I see that shibby is continuing to update the firmware.

  • @fjdkfdfjdf33 No, don't use bittorrent.

  • But is it possible to reverse the firmware back to the ASUS as considering in the future ASUS might be able to provide a better one ? If it's possible, how can you reverse ?

  • @zx6022004 No problem to change back to original ASUS firmware with help of the recovery feature. Running ASUS firmware now on this router.

  • Excellent vid. You convinced me to try this instead of the stock firmware. Sweet.

  • This firmware is stable?

    Tnk's

  • I don't own this router yet, but I'm considering to buy it, I'm sorry could you please in a line or two, describe what benefits it would give to use this Firmware over the current version out by Asus?

  • I just bought a asus rt-n16 based partly on your video - tx!

  • Excellent overview of the Tomato software. Many Thanks!

  • @DailyWalk365 Thanks!

  • Very good and thank you very much. But how you put Tomato firmware instead own RT-N66U firmware? Can I do it from factory interface?

  • @Seva2k8 No, you have to put the router into recovery mode, and then use the ASUS fimrware restore application and upload this firmware.
