  • Walter is really intelligent but I bet he doesn't know is talking to an important island protector. ..

  • can't light a bowl with a zippo

  • The sad part is that I had never seen Lost before watching this episode, so the effect was lost (ha) on me. However, after watching the whole series of Lost, this scene suddenly seems so much more awesome.

  • Best Walter moment ever!

  • No way... It's Hurley and Lord Denethor getting baked... No wonder the White Tree never had any blossoms on it...

  • am i deaf or is this really really soft. GOD HURLEY I MISS YA

  • Seriously though, what a random scene to throw in there! You never see him again!

  • what's the name of the song in the background?

  • thumbs up if you watched this clip and pretended it was a Hurley flashback or flashfoward scene from "Lost."

  • @jamesrchoi I wish that fringe and lost are in the same universe :)

  • DUDE

  • Good scene to start the episode. I was all smiling like an idiot! HURLEY I miss him so much :(

  • LOL Baconberry

  • Nothing like Walter and Hurley getting high together to start off the episode LOL, epic scene lol.

  • i dont get the significance of this part in the story??

  • @PlasticFunnel this is where walter discovers the soul magnets files and what eventually leads to olivia being possesed in the end by william bell.

  • @daspoon456 true but i mean, why the smoking, why the talk, why hurley....perhaps theres a hidden meaning which i cant decipher

  • @PlasticFunnel dont look at him as hurley, however impossible that may be for some people. they are high, so i guess they would be talking about random stuff. but this is also where walter starts to talks about how he needs his friend to help him, which is what he suffers through throughout the episode.

  • @daspoon456 good point mate. ;]

  • @PlasticFunnel Oh I just noticed this response. There's no hidden meaning. It's just a cameo. It isn't Hurley and they're smoking because Walter smokes weed. There are several references with Walter about drugs, mostly lsd and weed. He probably smelled it or something, then joined him where he discovered Bell's office.

  • @PlasticFunnel Walter learns about William Bell's office where he spends 2 hours discovering his old research files. Walter intends to use the idea of "soul magnets", microscopic devices that can be ingested by a person to call forth the soul of another. Walter believes Bell had arranged for someone in the prime universe to be his vessel and Olivia turns out to be that vessel when Walter activates the "soul magnets." Bell's consciousness is revived though Olivia until the end of episode 19.
