This case is another good example of how the media and the world rush to judge and denounce Israel and the IDF as murderers of children! In this case the Israeli media took the bait as well.
And by the way, the commander was acquitted because the incriminating video was found to be a concocted one, made up of several incidents (that is what the court found). Moreover, the soldiers that testified against their commander admitted to lying. They lied and tried to get back at him because they had a grudge against him (thought he was a harsh commander and did not like his attitude toward them).
If you are convinced that a war crime has been perpetrated, go ahead file an appeal to the international court. This is your right use it, but as long as you don't stop act judge and jury. I haven't the time nor the will to start and go into all the past FALSE allegations made against Israel by the Palestinians (Muhammad al-Durrah, the Gaza beach "massacre", the Jenin "massacre, and the list of blood libels is long). I condemn ANY war crime BUT it has to be proven THAT IT IS INDEED A WAR CRIME!

1. MOST Palestinian fled the combat areas (not all of Gaza strip was one big combat zone).
2. Gaza was closed due to Egypt as well, why don't you blame them for not opening their border crossing?
3. Dime weapons (if they where used) were designed especially for urban warfare, having very small damage radius!

I just said this is the same picture over and over again - Israel is blamed for things it did not do (like Jenin, Muhammad al-Durrah, the family on the Gaza beach, cutting electricity). The facts are that Palestinian where regretfully KILLED (NOT slaughtered, HUGE DIFFERENCE) in Gaza, and the question still remains who's to blame for their deaths, Israel for targeting ammo depots and luanching sites? Let us end this here. Whatever I say you will never accept. What an Israeli court (military or civil) you will not accept as long as it contradicts your belief. Therefore, this is futile and I've had enough of my time wasted on this. I sincerely hope that one day soon all differences will be bridged and a peaceful solution will be found, old enmities will be forgotten and we will know peace (I hope you will at least agree to that).

As I said HUDAisBACK, NO MATTER WHAT, even though you have not gone over all the evidence shown in court you have convicted him. I don't accuse and I don't judge the girls parents (my sincere condolences for their loss) for wanting someone to blame. If they feel that the trail was not fair let them appeal, BUT DO IT IN COURT WITH EVIDENCE!!! One thing is sure, the judges where convinced he was framed and not guilty!

So all in all HUDAisBACK, if the court found that the commander was wrongfully accused (as it did) it had to acquitted him. The no surprise is that you didn't even try to find out WHY he was acquitted and raced to the conclusion that he is guilty NO MATTER WHAT. Thank god you are not a judge (I really hope you are not). As before I advise you to wait until you know ALL the facts BEFORE you pass judgment!!!

And by the way, the commander was acquitted because the incriminating video was found to be a concocted one, made up of several incidents (that is what the court found). Moreover, the soldiers that testified against their commander admitted to lying. They lied and tried to get back at him because they had a grudge against him (thought he was a harsh commander and did not like his attitude toward them).

If you are convinced that a war crime has been perpetrated, go ahead file an appeal to the international court. This is your right use it, but as long as you don't stop act judge and jury. I haven't the time nor the will to start and go into all the past FALSE allegations made against Israel by the Palestinians (Muhammad al-Durrah, the Gaza beach "massacre", the Jenin "massacre, and the list of blood libels is long). I condemn ANY war crime BUT it has to be proven THAT IT IS INDEED A WAR CRIME!

IF a commander said that (I never heard of it) then that is an illegal order not to be obeyed and the commander and any soldier obeying it should be held accountable for that. I'll say it again, I have no knowledge of this. I was taught differently and taught not to obey illegal orders.
