  • Look up an article that is called "Mary, Saints, Worship, and Salvation" by Steve Ray. It will explain to you what catholics really do.....they do not worship saints. They honor them.

  • What is with your hate with the catholic people? Christ established Catholic Church himself. He built His Church on Peter "the Rock." (Mat 16:18) Peter preached at the first pentecost. 3000 Christians were baptized. A Christian Community is born. "The gates of hell shall not prevail against Her."

I do respect your opinion but you try to show information by jumping to conclusions.

Catholic faith is a gift my friend. We wish and pray for unity among Christians. And for everyone to get that gift.

  • Catholics use statues, paintings, and other artistic devices to recall the person or thing depicted. Just as it helps to remember one’s mother by looking at her photograph, so it helps to recall the example of the saints by looking at pictures of them. Catholics also use statues as teaching tools.

Though bowing can be used as a posture in worship, not all bowing is worship. A Catholic who may kneel in front of a statue while praying isn’t worshipping the statue or even praying to it.

  • This is a revelation for the Christian church leaders to take not of. I would not have known that Pope John Paul II had errors but for this book, The Errors Of Pope John Paul II. It follows that images in places of worship and bowing down to them contravenes God's commandment that says, 'Do not make or bow down to images.'
