that tank thing is dead in easy but if u play on master or expert i dont remember the hardest.. tank has 8000 hp in easy it has 1000.. so u need to do it 8 times not once :D

I have tried many auto pistol scripts. Why is my pistols sometimes shooting fast and sometimes they are very slow!

No thats not the thing, I actually found out working way. I had to change the "wait:2" into wait:5, coz it gives an order to shoot every 5frames and wait 5 shoot and wait 5... I got 2 good pc.

How do you get it to work all the time?

I get varying pistol speeds sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it works amazingly and sometimes it just fires one. Yes the X hair is blue.

I tried ur script it was good but u CANT use M4 OR Sniper rifle. When u got decapped you can only shoot 1 or 2 shots whit pistols because it starts to reload pistols..

you do realize that the script is built with an autoreload + rapidfire on and off switch right???

This script doesn't work when you are the infected in online Versus mode. You can't use left mouse button to continue at the screen where it tells you what to do, just before spawn/respawn.

Also, as a hunter, you can't pounce on anyone. You can only use mouse 2 attack but no jumping.

Would be nice if these bugs were fixed.

If you're having this problem, it's because of an error on your part, some other configs, or an update to L4D I haven't bothered adjusting for. Otherwise, it works just fine.

maybe you should split up the whole script for dummies so they can either take your orange crosshair for shotgun, auto shot pistols, or the reload advantage for the shotgun also?

its only an idea, for me iam not using your whole script, only the small crosshair for the uzi, for all weopons works well except for the snipah rifeelllllllllllllllllllllllll­llll

Nice script. Thanks for making this, you're a lifesaver. What I did was remove everything but the auto-pistols, I hope it works. I just don't see much use for the reload script. Anyways, good video.

It's a debatable subject. I personally can click as fast as those pistols go. Yeah, my finger's are effin' tired by the time I'm done a game, but personally I don't think skill should be wrapped up in how much endurance your fingers have. And at the base of it, it's not an exploit: Valve is fully aware you can do this and implements the scripting option so players can do things like this.

But yeah, there's a huge debate that could be had on it. To each their own.

Actually, there's skill involved in how fast you can shoot those guns. Thats why about every L4D tournament out there forbids scripts like this. Im not saying its a bad script or anything, im sure its a very neat code and all... but I'd still permban a player using this on my server. It's like that script that made ultra-fast melee spamming possible. Fortunately, Valve fixed it and I hope they'll fix this as well. A maximum speed is needed, like when you're down.

There is a max speed. It's just pretty short. I can shoot as fast as my scripts by clicking. I just get tired.

Unfortunately your wait lengths are based on your framerate and some other factors. They're not time based. There's no way to say "after this much time, reload" kind of thing. So auto-reload for the pistols is near impossible, and very likely to go wrong at best.

Auto Fire for Pistols scripts are getting banned on most Steam Servers soon. They make the Uzi totally obsolete which is an unintended exploit.

The other scripts are fine... personally i don't like edging since giving yourself these kind of advantages are IMO cheating. But I tolerate it.

Oh and there's no way a tank will drop in a single shotgun and pistol clip on expert. =P

Good to know. Like I've said, I don't play this game to seriously, and it's use at your own risk. I just play for kicks on campaign to kick back. It would be kind of mean to use the pistol script in verses.

I was never a CS:S player, but with some modifications, it should. That said, the firing time of all weapons is limited by whatever the game makers limit them at. Scripts can't make you fire faster than you can fire a gun manually, essentially.

Adjusting the crosshair to make it better is easy to do in console w/o scripts. type in console cl_crosshairscale 4000 in console. Default is 1200. The higher the number the smaller the crosshair is. It helps for headshots.

The crosshair info isn't a script per say. You can edit that all you want in the console, and yes that works fine. But if you want it to switch and that kind of thing, that needs to be added to the scripts. If all you want is a static setting, sure, good call.

Thanks for the info on the scale setting though. That might have been new with an update, but I may be wrong.
