okay, my dear guys, it there at least one of you that knows that doin photorealistic work by having a photo at your laptop and observing it while painting is so much more easy? i´m not jealous at all, doing art myself, not the same way she does and painting not as good as her, but please stop calling all the people haters or ignorant just because they have a knowledge of art. thank you :)

Her paintings spoke "HOPE" to those who CHOOSE to seek out GOD & JESUS... and scream "Condemnation" to those who CHOOSE not to seek out God & Jesus. Same painting... same image... two diametrically opposing worldviews interpreting them.

This is the highest form of artistic expression one can hope to generate. It's the same philosophy as to why miserable people hate happy people. If you don't like what you see... it's time to look in the mirror and let God HEAL YOU.

But she still has a talent and great developed skills.

The canvas sizes are large and she has a model, that DOES make it easier: working larger means people will have a bigger distance at it, so mistakes and "rough" parts, are barely visible. I realised it at a painting I saw in Bruxelles: from afar, it was smooth and detailed, from closeby it was just a normal over-sized painting.

Also, when people see an eye, they draw AN eye. But you need to draw every detail on it's own, together they will form THE exact eye you SAW. (it's hard to explain)

I certainly cant look at a picture and paint it. Even my stick figures look malformed. It is not often you see one with a geniune gift, rather than just a flair, and from infancy to boot. To suggest she is being guided by her mother on a laptop is laughable and the height of ignorance. Da Vinci himself could give me step by step instructions and i would not be able to produce a work even minutely as profound.

She is being encouraged to 'paint' whatever sells. The immigrant parents immediately saw the potential of selling paintings to religious zealots and so they sit around, get fat fatter fattest feasting off the fear of the guillible.

Oh Akiane, paint a picture of a baby, that would sell. You must definitely paint a picture of a member of the minority, we need to get to that market too! Smart parents.

@leekmuncha Yeah, because you can see that she looks over to her right multiple times, intensely studies the laptop, makes a few decisive strokes, then repeats.

Obviously, you've never painted, and from a picture to boot. It takes careful study of how color and shape interact and frankly, splotching then blending colors in the way she does, that's not from a picture at all. Nor can one be guided through painting, other than mere suggestion.

I think that she has lovely paintings and while I am disinclined to accept her spiritual basis, she has extraordinary natural talent
