Nice video, but I dislike the gameplay. SEGA made this game EXTREMELY too hard. No matter how good I am on championship mode (good laps/perfect run), the A.I. opponents are ALWAYS faster than you are. The physics of this game are VERY unforgiving. As a SEGA fan, I'm very dissapointed. Even some of the achievements are glitched. If I would've known, I should'nt have bought this game. Their other games are better than this one.

@jhous71 If you actually played any of the old Sega racing games you'd know that they are all incredibly difficult and the physics in Revo are actually quite forgiving. This game is pure, perfect arcade racing, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

@JetSetSonic You do have a valid point. I HAVE played arcade SEGA Rally Championships (which I liked along with other SEGA racing games). This one does'nt feel like the other ones I've played. What frustrate me about this one is the achievements. I was going for the the "Perfect Score". It's seems like no matter how good you are, the A.I. are faster and better. It doesn't give me the same nostolgic feeling back when I played the original classics. This is why I post comments like this.

@jhous71 Sorry about that, it just seemed like you hadn't played any of Sega's arcade racers, because the arguments you used against Revo apply to most other games in the series. When I go back and play SRC or even SRC 2, the A.I. is ridiculously fast, almost as if it never needs to brake. I've just accepted it over the years. I still think that Revo's physics are very forgiving though, because if you pick the right angle, you can bounce off walls and gain speed. That's how I beat the game lol.

This a really great game. It can't benefit on an old system (I've tried), but a new dual core or better proc. with a great graphics card and loads of memory and you won't believe your eyes. Sweet!

It kinda hurts to read some of these comments. It's not that the game sucks because it doesn't. It's just that it's gameplay isn't very popular in this day and age. Most people seem to want simulation or whatever they feel is realistic. But there are others who don't care about tuning a car and they just want to race. It's a pretty fun game when you get the hang of it. It's pretty cheap too but that's probably because the Sega shut down SRS.

Sega Rally's a pretty fun game, it's shame it didn't sell too well, perhaps people are growing less fond of arcade racers.

just bought this game. got it cuz it was 15 bucks at gamestop... worst racing game. so many things are wrong. the only way to get close to winning is to follow the path of everyone else.... and you physically cant take a 90 degree turn going 120 without braking. its the stupidest game ive played in a while. not realistic at all, and not even fun for an arcade racer.

It's a shame that Sega Rally Revo only runs at 30 frames per second on Xbox 360 and PS3.

It's ironic that the developers were inspired by the original MODEL 2 arcade Sega Rally, which ran at a consistant 60fps in 1995.

Only with the PC version of Sega Rally Revo do you get the chance to run the game at 60fps, if you have at least a decent, midrange graphics card. Console players are out of luck, they're stuck with 30fps cause M$ & Sony limited the GPUs to 8 ROPs and a 128-bit bus.

it is to fast i think...and no realistic only tracks and cars no demages no real speeding but if you like grand turismo only faster and rally it is for you...and if you cant finish a track without a damage you have to lear to drive feel the car no matter it is a game still you can do it...=-] this game i rate 6.5 / 10

Incredible amount of detail and the track deformation is awesome. Great sensation of speed, and simply fun as heck. Best Rally game period.

bought it yesterday and omg the surfaces are so brilliantly different - mud is my favourite but theres dusty canyons and snowy alpines and tarmacked roads and its just awesome.

its pedal to the metal rally awesommness.

And its less technical than DIRT which may either make people annoyed, or make room for more fun, which is the way i see it.

There's no damage. You wouldn't want damage in a Sega Rally game anyway, it's too fast and arcadey and damage would make it impossible to finish a lap. And, Midnight Club has nothing on Sega Rally.
