I've played VII before and am currently playing IX, and I personally agree with SirDrakeXIII's opinion that Kuja is more a villain, and Sephiroth more of a badass. I have not played whichever Final Fantasy hosts Kefka as the antagonist, but I have read that he is also an evil bastard. But even still, at the end of any debate it always remains to be a matter of opinion...I still love Sephiroth, but I believe Kuja leads a more villainous campaign.

Kuja is now what sephiroth was for his time. Just as Sephiroth is the Evolution of the bad ass, Kuja is the evolution of the villian. Sephiroth dies multiple times, while canon wise, Kuja is never defeated.

Also, Sephiroth TRIED to destroy the world and become a god. Kuja did BOTH 3 discs in. The went on to try to destroy everything.

Actually, I think it's far better if he's dead. He said "I think I finally understand the true nature of life" before passing out. It would add to the tragic aspect of the character. First, he thought life was power, then he thought life was suffering. Then he learns what life truly is. So he can die in peace. I think it makes sense.

But I agree, if there's a sequel to FFIX, Kuja HAS TO BE in it. He's just so cool.
