Transformers Unvierse will be browser-based like Runescape. Dang :( I'm still excited though, but I hope they'll, if it's popular enough, turn it into a "real" mmo like WoW and stuff :D

Thumbs up if you think in Transformers Universe, you can create your own size and width and all that on your character, but you can scan any vechile you want. That would be epic.

Most disappointing this about this game, is the fact that it's being made by Jagex. Runescape is pretty much the Hotshot of MMOs. The kids and those who don't know any better love him, but to the actual fans he's just an annoying cash-in that we all secretly make fun of. Personally, I would have much preferred someone like Cryptic Studios or even NC Soft take the helm.

Also, ?v=ebGVsCPSDEo Leaked trailer confirms it's a TPS. It looks better than DOTM, but worse than WFC IMHO.

The only things they have in common is that they have Transformers in the title and they are both MMOs.

It is not a re-label of the same game. If you think it is, or you've been told it is, then you are misinformed.

Jagex and NetDragon have not partnered up, nor sharing assets.

Apart from the fact that I know what I'm talking about, TenTonHammer clearly state it's a new game in relation to NetDragon's TFO.

I'm basing my claims off what I know. TFU is an 'action'MMO that fits within the Prime mythos in a 3D environment taking place on earth. Amazingly enough, that's exactly what the TFO trailer seems to insinuate. Believe me or not, I was at NYCC and I went to the TFU panel. While there wasn't any gameplay shown, there WAS an exclusive trailer which looked remarkably similar to TFO in terms of art style and action.

But If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. No need be a prick about it.

Actually, I'm just going to say this Mungry. From my understanding, Transformers Universe is going to have a vehicle-based class system, but at the same time, it will not be like the traditional WoW MMO. It will be more like a fast paced shooter. The game is going to be browser based, but I am pretty sure it will be "shooter-styled." There is already a Transformers MMO in the WoW style in China, and it honestly sucks. Just saying.

@SoooMungry As am I. I actually played the demo for the first game heavily and was pretty good, getting an average of like 14-2 k-d and scoring that magical 20-0. But my problem was that I was in Greece at the time, and it was difficult to get video games. Especially when at the time you would have parents that said no to video games. Now they're more just "Hey, it's your money." so I can order what I want.

But good luck with your TV dude. I know how you feel, lightning destroyed one of my PCs.

I saw that Jagex was part in development according to the trailer,if its anything like Runescape it will also have a pay to play feature for xtras in the game to do, like quests.Probably can also assume that it's not going to come out til late 2012 or maybe 2013 because they are also working on a game called stellar dawn which is probably there num1 priority.But if they are getting help with the game maybe 2012.bc it is browser based, like RS u can assume that the characters will walk on a grid.
