i think instead of cutting the rim of the bowl, i would have added more paper to the rim to kind of clean it up a bit and left it. gives it more of a personality i think. just my thoughts...

I liked very much you lesson about using newspaper and paper mache, I also do a variant of this type of work using only paper mache , toilet-paper and white glue.
