THANKS FOR SHARING, IT WORKED, I found a rubber way bigger than the lid, I tried fitting in at least 70% of the lid, leaving other 30% and extra loose and it still worked.

Or... You could just grow some muscle and save the money spendt on rubber bands?

or get a spoon place it under one of the notches on the underside of the lid and pry it out a little it will let some air into the jar and presto you got yourself an open jar :P

takes long time and NOT everybody has a rubberring just laying nearby.. HERE'S HOW.. wipe clean lid with dry cloth.. moist your hand under running water.. clean off exess water from hand.. now your hand is moist and you have about the same grip as the rubberring..!!

lol just run the lid under hot water and it will expand making it alot easier
