Is that Windows XP or Windows 9x? Because Documents and Settings only exists on XP, and only 2000 and later allow you to change directories without using quotes around names with spaces.
Oh yeah, another way to right a text document: copy con (what you want to name the file) Your text. There is no word wrap so you have to press enter when you get near the edge of the screen. [CTRL] Z [ENTER] md (name) makes a directory. And deltree (name) deletes a directory and all of it's contents. (I just learned about that one.) Great video!
Over the summer (we had bad weather all summer), I read an 300 page advanced book on how to use MS-DOS from front to back, now I know DOS like the back of my hand! It was based on MS-DOS 2.11, though, so it didn't talk about anything that was in MS-DOS 5.0 or newer.
I didn't know about CHDIR! If I was in the "Docs. and Sets." directory, and wanted to go to the "Windows" directory, I had to do:
