  • What can i say... Dave Wise is a genius.

  • @GreenGiantShit Actually Grant Kirkhope re-arranged all his music for this game. So yes they both are geniuses.

  • I prefer this one compared to the ness one, this one is more expressive to me... Such feeling I feel through it. Awesome work from rare despite the limt of the gameboy system...

  • it's funny, the first time i played this level on DKL2 I nearly puked coz the music sounded so weird, but found a new love for it in screech's sprint and can now play it on the piano. At one stage I think this music made me cry coz it sounded kinda sad.

  • 0:55 <3

  • soooooooo many memories......

  • I happened to use this song in the movie I made. It fit's pretty well.

  • This remind me all my childhood

  • I absolutely love how crude and cute this version of Stickerbrush Symphony is.

  • i still have and play this game... this is one of my favorite songs on it

  • Epic Yellow Cartridge!

  • @Spartan995 kinda like pokemon yellow but there all yellow though

  • @CastleCrashers441 yeah. however this was the only yellow cartridge i ever owned. so it was pretty damn exciting

  • @Spartan995 Yeah but every donkey kong land game is yellow but they were all my first yellow cartridges too

  • :')

  • ***NOSTALGIA HEART ATTACK***

wow.... when this song began to play my lungs just froze for a second.

  • @ejkddorai Word up. Its like a rush of childhood memories that hit me hard, like a ton of bricks.

  • The bramble levels are a perfect set up as far as mind rape goes. They are literally a thorn in your ass, yet they are doused in this priceless, soothing, and amazing music in order to keep your sanity! ^_^

  • @acuidad All hail the mighty barrels within the thorns!

  • Only white notes, pure feel good song! So simple yet so great. One of my top 3 game music composers. Easy to learn on piano and fun to play =)

  • good memories

  • I love this ! 8-BIT more than the original from DCK Country

  • Al escuchar esta canción me da una tranquilidad interior, y una sensación de bienestar increíbles.

Me sumergía literalmente en cada mundo con esta canción.

  • @77TwiNe77 yo tambien me encta esta cancion y el juego

  • It was the first game I owned. The first game I played through without cheats or help. I felt like the King of the world afterwards and remember most of the cool levels and tracks.

  • the snes version is the best this is good but not like the original

  • Great work by Grant Kirkhope on his first video game assignment.

  • This game is absolutly beautiful forever!

  • This was a good game :D

  • ah, this version is practically better than the gba and snes one!

  • I'm more used to this one than I was to the SNES version.

  • I've got a link to the soundtrack. pm me.

  • The stage im at now has that theme to it! xD

  • deedy kawng.

  • I used to hate this music, though it was through no fault of the music itself. It's actually quite beautiful.

The level was just frustrating sometimes XD

    Ah, memories.

  • I am quite shocked by this composition. I first played DKC2 as rental in 1996 and then finally beat it when I bought it at 12-years-old in 2002. This version is actually just as good as the original version. Too bad they had to mess with this composition in SSBB. Old school Donkey Kong games rule.

  • Where did you get the music from? i want it too :)

  • can a human really make something this beautiful???

  • wow, i love this game, it was one of my favorite and the 1ts i have when i got it, .... gratefully memories

  • This was the first game I got with my Gameboy Pocket...oh the memories

  • same here... black pocket for my 6th bday i believe. good times

  • I also had the black pocket as my first gameboy !

My first game was ghostbusters-game based on the second movie.

  • This one owns the GBA version!

  • I never owned a GB or GBA and have to admit it doesn't sound too bad from the original.

  • best donkey kong's song ever it's part of my childhood

  • I bet they made this song extra awesome because the levels associated with it were so hard hahaha.

  • i love this one better than the snes version this bring back memories igot this for my birthday

  • me too.

  • The good ol' "K-A" rating... It seems that it has sunk into oblivion some time ago.

  • K-A is the new E for everyone, atleast they took out the EC rating early childhood so stupid..... XD

  • I like this one more than the Brawl one. More in the spirit of the original version on the SNES. =] *SNES is my fave xD*

  • I remember just standing still in the game listening to the music! This has got to be the best track in the game.

  • Overall I think I could honestly say it's the most popular song on the entire DKC2 soundtrack and I guess DKL2 =3 XD And btw I agree with you all the way. Best track in game. =D

  • Wow i never knew there was a Donkey Kong Land

  • It feels like there's so much emotion put into this version than in the SNES one, but I still prefer the SNES one much more.

My favorite out of them all would have to be Forest Interlude though =)

  • Yeah you can't really compare the sound of a Gameboy to that of a SNES anyways though.

  • Rare was such an awesome developer. Too bad Nintendo was stupid and sold them to Microsoft...

  • Nintendo never sold it, Rare left Nintendo by itself because some reasons, just like Bungie left Microsoft, but Rare still makes games for Nintendo.

  • Yes they did sell them. Microsoft bought 51% of Rare and Nintendo sold the 49% they had left

  • yeah i know, but not as much as they used to

  • well yea rare keep making game form nintendo remeber gameboy advance with banjo and kazzoie and viva pinata for ds i mean if they been buy by microsoft microsoft wont make then do those games

  • Microsoft owns Rare. Rare were able to make those handheld games because Microsoft has no handheld console of its own to compete with.

  • love this song. Best damn one from my childhood in games

  • You got to be kidding me.

  • i love this song it always made me cry for some reason

  • best theme in that game i'd say wouldnt you?

  • sounds so pretty!! i luv this game!! im playin it now!!

  • my friend, where did you find it?!!!!!!!

  • He never found it, most likely. He recorded it from some GB emulator.

  • :) great game, beautiful music

  • Beautiful piece of music.

  • great song one of the best dk games songs xD

  • I love this song! To me this version is just as good as the 16-bit version!

  • Omfg I love the dkl BG music for all 3.

Dowloaded and put on meh iPod! XD

  • If Donkey Kong Country 2 was 8-bit, it would sond like this.

  • @NintendoFreak29 DKL2 is an 8-bit version of DKC2

  • @NintendoFreak29 Well.. duh? It is from the Game Boy adaptation of the game, what did you expect?

  • Even though some sounds in the original song aren't played, Wise made it so that it sounds this awesome! =)

  • Yeah, I love this song! They sure made this one a lot better than the one in the GBA version of DKC2.

  • Blame Jamie Hughes! xD

  • @Blaziken257 Imo all DKL2 are better than SNES and GBA versions of DKC2

  • @talaivaneizer Grant Kirkhope did the composition work for DKL2, not Dave Wise.

  • @LassicBtCE

Yup, I realized that some time ago =P

  • @LassicBtCE Kirkhope's version of this song is better if you ask me haha.
