I see only one problem.

It's too difficult to both "pump iron" and concentrate on driving. You really need a big accumulator in a complex traffic. You can pump easily on a free highway but in dense city-style traffic it may be too demanding.

I like your ideas alot. As you know . Your cars are the furture. But the public isnt ready to get out of their SUV,s to stop buying gas . Keep up the good work . I ride my bike to work some days . (10 ) miles. Did you know jays shop is almost 100,000 SF.

This is a great idea. I imagine an individual model with 2 directional wheels in front and 1 drive wheel in back, significantly smaller and lighter as a great vehicle where the rider could generate all the energy needed to go on indefinitely.
