I am having trouble pairing my cell phone with the P2. It is bluetooth enabled. I don't suppose you could do a quick movie on how to pair a phone to the P2?
Hmm.. I don't have the ability to make any movies right now. I'm out of province in school. Typically you should be able to turn bluetooth on your Phone and the P2 ON. Just make sure that both the Phone and the P2 are "Discoverable" in their settings. Once you've got that you should be able to search for the Phone from your P2 and pair them. It is possible your phone just isn't compatible with the P2. Check the anythingbutipod forums for more info on that.
Thats true! It is a very smart option but I like the idea of the wireless control and the ability to be out of your vehicle. You can be camping with the stereo on and control the car from the fire. Obviously not an everyday scenario but it its nice. Also I like the look of this particular deck in my older car. Good call either way with the USB port option!
Hey Thank you for checking out my review and all my updates (video responses). I plan to add several new updates very soon with more advanced P2 information. For now though, please check out my P2 file center. Just go to [trippleWdot] mediafire [dotCOMslash] ian67camaro I've got the latest firmware, wallpapers, UCIs, Videos and recommended software. Let me know what you think or if you have any requests.
No. WiFi would have probably made the P2 the greatest Mp3 Player ever made. Samsung decided to have Bluetooth capability instead. If you want WiFi without Bluetooth you should invest in the new model Ipod Touch.
Well I'm not sure what firmware version you need to have backgrounds. But its easy to do if you are up to date (5.08 or 5.10). Go to any picture you have saved on your P2 and tap the screen to bring up the interface, open the center menu and tap "Select as My Skin". That picture will then be applied as your new background/wallpaper. Google "InterFaceLift" and search for 480x272 sized pictures on that site... theirs a ton of nice ones. Let me know if you have any troubles.
Excellent review and thank you very much. I've had my eye on the YP-P2 as a bluetooth enabled replacement for my Toshiba Gigabeat. Very good overview and thanks for the props.
Yeah thanks for the comment. It was your review of the FB275BTB that made me grab one. If you want more info on the P2 check my main P2 review, its got it all. Thanks again!
This is one of many of my reviews. If you didn't find the information that you were looking for in this video, please check the original video and browse through my video responses. I have covered everything from standard operation to cases, battery life, chargers, bluetooth functions, video conversion and much more. With over 35 Minutes of video footage only on the P2, I'm sure I can answer your questions.
Did I say $130? I just got the deck for a present. I'm pretty sure my parental units spent about $180 after tax on it. You can get it on ebay if you live in the US for about $135 after s&h. Really as far as retail goes the deck hasn't depreciated that much. Solid unit... just needs the bluetooth ID3 tag display.

some newer decks have usb ports right on the front
so all you need to do is plus your p2 right into your deck and then music starts playing
