AH HAH i new it, i`ve been playing this game a lot recently on the psp antholagy and didnt seem 2 b getting the "great" thing at the end of most of the missions, then i disscovered that i must be because i`ve missed out 1 or 2 of the prisoners, so i had this brilliant idea 2 check out youtube knowing that some1 would of done a game play vid like this and done it 100% AND THE PLAN WORKED PERFECTLY LOL

I think it's very strange that a shotgun would kill a tank with two shots, especially a modern tank. It would have been better if SNK had switched the rocket launcher and shotgun's firepower value, at least against vehicles... But that's just me.

And in fact, the shotgun is more impressive than the "RAWKET LAUCHAIR". The screen flashes white, and any soldier on screen is thrown back like he was hit by a train while this highly detailed blast SFX comes out of the business end of that thing.

It's a timer that will kill you if it runs down but will increase as you hit parts of the level. It's actually a really good way to boost your score if you know where to stop and shoot guys before the timer resets.

this is just level one and you would be wrong by saying it's easy. It IS easy however to make a silly mistake, this guy has obviously played a few times and makes it look even easier.

it depends on where you hit the chopper. if you do it at all in the middle you're prob hitting the bombs that drop and not the chopper. the chopper on MVS level is VERY easy to kill.

I dont know man. i played metal slug 5 like 9 times and won everything. Then I downloaded metal slug 1, and played level 1 for the first time, it was pathetic. I did not lose any single life.

Awesome, I know that with a little more practice I will be able to 1cc this game. So far my best run I used 8 credits. I consider MS-001 the easiest game in the Slug series and 3 is IMO the hardest.
