They're completely different types of RTS... you can't really compare them. But even if you were to, I still prefer C&C 3, as it's the more polished of the two. (And yes, I've thoroughly played both of them.)

That's the exact opposite. The game is set up so you just spam mammoths. That's all anybody ever does in multiplayer, since it is the only thing that works.

Heres some advice for everyone. Ok, the mammoth tanks stay in battle for a long time so what you want to do is: move the weak ones, or the ones that are about to die towards the back as you continue to battle. Because the enemy will focus on the first tank it comes in contact with. And if the strongest ones are at the front all the time then you still have the weak ones in back attacking with full fire. So basically you'll fight with a balanced squad. Reply if you dont understand.

you do know if u turn off all shadows and heat distorisation effects it cuts the requirments down a huge amount i can play with full textures i belive but i just cut off the shawdows and heat effetcs

Atilla, what is a "non-classical" rts? The total war series? There's not really much else in the true rts genre except the strucutre-building, troops training, attacking formula.

well by classical it mean it's a kind of game that exist since a long time, C&C series was one of the really early game of that type. Total War is not that old yet, and is still unique and the principle of it are not that common in video gaming. Classical game does mean it's better or not, it just mean it a well establish type of game since a long time.

game is good,but some things could be fixed like the firehawk when you swtich the missiles to air and attack an enemy plane it kills 2 planes with 4 missiles, so that's good, but when he gets promoted to final rank he fires red missiles and when you attack a plane, 1st missile takes the plane's health down all the way instead of killing him, so still takes 2 missiles which is dumb,although he does more power when bombing buildings so i hope they fix dis but w/e its still dope
