I'm only 27 and this music came out when I was a young kid. These guys are one of the most underrated groups of all time. I think anyone who considers themselves a lover of all music must rate REM among the elite. A truly unique style and sound that is breathtaking and inspiring every time I listen. Their music sends your mind on a winged journey, soaring over God's beautiful creation. Stipe's passion is undeniable. There will never be another REM; as special as the likes of the Beatles.
@ashish59sk Thank you. It's simply how it makes me feel. The horn section, paired with the guitar plucking is phenomenal. These guys are iconic. REM is better than: Nirvana, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.
@sdalt001 I'm just 20 yet and discovered R.E.M. only months ago...and they have become my favorite band(along with Coldplay)....Now I'm just listening to their past albums and truly enjoying myself....Automatic For The People and Murmur are their best...
@ashish59sk You must listen to the albums: Green and Out of Time. They are excellent as well. Good for you for discovering REM, their music will change your life. There is a depth and complexity to their music that will cause you to lose yourself in it while listening. Enjoy! Coldplay is excellent as well. They make awesome music. If you have not already, check out U2. Their older stuff is better. The song "Bad" off the Unforgettable Fire album is their best in my opinion.
@sdalt001 of course I like Out Of Time as well....I have their full Discography....And i know u2 too...but i have listened only few songs...but now i will definitely listen to the song and album you suggested.....
I remember hearing this on MTV Unplugged .....they closed the show with it ...which was about the coolest way it could of been done. What album of theirs was this on?? beautiful song man......
Very , Very , Very Beautifull, Would you like to have 100 more for the next one? Alex, I have 30,000 more but I am a little bit afraid the illuminati will get us all killed before I get a chance to organiize and send that many to you. Maybe a 100 will do.?
OMG!!! It`s just amazing!!! R.E.M forever!!! Thanks!!!

Rem was my first show ever.
First beer in a stadium, first thrill of a crowd, first strobes and first love.
