  • did you play the x box game "driver, parallel lines"??? it really has the groove!!!

  • I remember when this set the standard for music on the radio...no, there's no real talent required...most of today's "artists" think that funk is something they develop when they sweat on stage...

  • sampled by awesome dre and the hardcore committee.... you cannot hold me back!!!

  • Most awesome blue-eyed/kilt-wearing funk number evah!

Camden606 mentioned Undercover Brother . . . I thought it was kind of funny that the opening scene's song was by a white band (considering the theme of the movie). Great movie, no doubt. Just kinda ironic.

  • Yeah! CMH is playin this in Jazz Band! FUCK YES!

  • Thumbs up if Undercover Brother brought you here

  • Best song to prank people with!

  • I wish they would have had those hand claps at the end throughout the song. It would have had more of a Zapp/Roger Troutman sound...way before Zapp and Roger Troutman.

  • Man that drummer is all over those drums like a cheap suit at 3:40. I've always loved that riff.

  • Comment removed

  • @Thopter Yeah, Robbie McIntosh was tight...too bad he passed not too long after this cut was released.

  • NUT PUNCH!

    BLOCKED!

    COUNTER NUT PUNCH!

  • Best use of the letter W ever

  • @mattitudeman69 And when W butt lady poops, a semi-colon comes out ! BWAHAHAHAHAAA !!

  • James took his influence and did something new and different with his music. A true artist will admit their influence all artist are inspired. AWB never admitted James Brown was a influenced. I have read several interviews where they were asked and it was said to them you guys have that James Brown sound and to this day they still deny the influence. All you have to do is listen.

  • New world order bites I was not being racist. I am speaking the truth. When Black artist perform something new JaZZ R&B Rap or what ever they are made fun of laughed at and mocked but when white artist come out and copy it is considered great and new. Now you tell me what is racist about that when that is a true fact because that is the way of the world especially in america.

  • The truth hurts! James Brown himself made a comment to the rappers and to other musicians to get off of his tip. It is one thing to be influenced and it is another to copy someone's sound and try to take credit for it. That is what I was saying. AWB was good but James was original. Big difference

  • Yes this was a good song but everyone really knows AWB ripped off James Brown. When I first heard this song along with a lot of other people we thought it was the JB's. Listen to the guitar riff all James Brown grooves. Admit it guys and tell the truth. That is why you called yourselves Average White.

  • @MRKEYMAN88 NOW AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH.

  • "YOOOWWWW....is a fusion of Jazz and Funk. Its called 'Junk'."

  • when i get married im dancing to this with my wife fuck all that slow dance bullshit.

  • Superman II

  • Iron Man 2!

  • yey for Scottish bands

  • ahhhhh, getting the urge...... to put on a leather jacket........ sunglasses....... and chase criminals across rooftops!! ahhhHHH!!!!!!

  • Forgot how good this was!

  • 2:12 Bill Cosby should be dancing

  • Who can name a better funk song than this? You can't. It is what it is, the finest funkiest song there is. You cannot listen to it and not either strut or dance.

  • @sirbuick Actually I think Chameleon is some good competition for this song.... Of course, I still like this song, as I am listening to it on Youtube

  • @mikeydeeish what is chameleon so I find the right song? I love all funk, if it's competition for this song I bet I love it.

  • @sirbuick by Herbie Hancock

  • Jazz-funk at its finest...

  • These guys are my boys

  • @TheTrippybutterfly I'm game.

  • Justin Hammer dances to this, before he takes you out with his assault drones.

  • I spent three hours trying to figure out the name of this song and who sang it. I heard it on the radio this morning on my way to work and remembered hearing it on a toothpaste commercial. I googled and youtubed every toothpaste commercial till I just found it. Thank you for posting, maybe now I can sleep!
