  • i love the green man reference <3

  • Amazing!

  • Wow. Love this! Only just discovered it. Would love to know more info about this lot.

  • Fajne. Greetings from Poland.

  • it's incredible!!! amazing!!! I didn't know this group!!! i love it!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of summer...

  • Does it matter what path we follow? We're all going to the same destination, lets use the mode of transport we prefer...

  • love it

  • The music is beautiful. =) i sing this in my dorm room to the great god.

  • there is so many great things about life and nature. these songs sang by wiccans and pagans are lively and true. free spirited and beautiful beats and lyrics. the energy and kindness gave a positive feel to me.i have.pagans accepted me for who i was and what i chose and all christians did was force religion on others and were very negative about the choices others made and believed. i believe in what i want and it makes me feel bad that christians turned our sacred god into the devil :(

  • @NOHfeer17 sorry for the bad typing my computer kept freezing

  • @NOHfeer17 dont feel bad. the christains are just misguided and blinded by their bible. We all get called home to the goddess even if its not in this life.:) blessed be and merry lughnasadh

  • @NOHfeer17 Yeah, Lucifer was a fallen angel; not some red skinned horned being, Hollywood made that popular but most importantly the christian faith took the term the BEAST and turn it evil. As Pagans and Earth based religiousists, we worship the beasts of the world and Christianity is all for loving God, being holy, and detesting their animal brothers and sisters. If we were created along with animals, they should be a part of our family.

  • Dance anyone? :-D

  • @eileendalla Yes Let Us Dance

Where is a balefire when you need one?

    Blessed Be!

  • I'm so angry I wont be able to listen to this all day on Lughnasadh. I'll be on a plane:(

  • My mother Deborah taught me this song, :) this Beltane. :)

  • I love how happy Pagan music makes me ♥

  • @QinEnlaiLao212 So much happier than the dirges present in hymns eh? Music should make you feel uplifted, strong, or any number of other things, but it should not cause you to feel the "sinner's guilt"

  • @fretburner18 "Dirges present in hymns" <-- Not sure what you mean there. But I agree. (:

  • @QinEnlaiLao212 A dirge is a somber song expressing mourning or grief, such as would be appropriate for performance at a funeral.

  • @fretburner18 I know what a dirge is. But I meant that phrase as a whole.

  • @QinEnlaiLao212 Oh haha. I guess Christian hymns strike me as being very dirge-like.

  • @fretburner18 Yeah. I was raised Christian. So I totally agree with you.

  • @kingfisher559 Well, I'll go to Sainsburys to do my weekly shopping, so I won't take anything with me to 'sustain me in the days ahead'

    Srsly though, this is a nice enough song. I ain't a pagan/druid either. :L

  • Now this is music i can listen to whenever lol

  • this song makes me feel so happy!!!

    blessed be everyone! <3

  • Where was this song when Lughnasadh was here!? Why did I not find it until now? It's so nice! :)

  • yes this is absolutely wonderful.

  • Lughnasadh Greetings

"A crown of thorns above my head as the dark is rising".

The days remain warm, but the Wheel is turning towards autumn. Only change is eternal.

  • Lughnasadh was my first ritual. My alter was a stool, all i had was a bit of bread and a internet ritual. I didn't know what a circle was XD. But 1 year on I have a lovely cofee table as an alter, candles, and i know what a circle is. :D

Lovely song :D I'm gonna save my pocket money for a CD :D

  • Is there someone who has this song on his computer? I can't find it, I want to download it!

  • @Sannetje1993 Try buying the CD and supporting the artist, you'll find it through google.

  • makes me want to dance.

  • Really love the rhythm of this song. great voice, but kinda hard to hear

  • I love this song, I really do. But I have to strain to hear the bard's voice over the music, which is sad. :<

  • great music, wish I could down load it all. bb

  • this is the first song about Lughnasadh that I have heard. I love it! I added it to my favorites.

  • I can't wait to buy the song book. I'd love to sing this around a fire.

  • sweet musix that is

  • Lughnasadh has just passed for the southern hemisphere, 1st February (Imbolc for the northern hemisphere).

It's the time of 1st harvest, and marks the passage of summer into autumn. It's also the time that the god Lugh marks the funeral of his foster mother and passes into his own old age.

  • what is Lughnasadh? I love this song though!

  • Lughnasadh is a Celtic holiday, in honour of the God Lugh. It is celebrated by wiccans, some druids and celtic polytheistic reconstructionists, nowadays.

  • okay, thanks!

  • i have recently been reading alot about wicca and stuff, i found merlin am i, now im hooked with this music... )o( Blessed be

  • Then you should check out Omnia, Faun, and Corvus Corax. Not exactly the same as Damh the Bard but still awesome.

  • Blessed Lughnasadh! Thank you for posting this!

  • Merry Lugnasadh to y'all !

  • Happy Lughnasadh for all :D

  • Happy Lughnasadh!

  • Merry Lughnasadh

  • It's a very joyous anthem at a time of the year when nature is coming into fruition. Unfortunately, as Damh rerminds us, "the year is waning" and summer will shortly turn to autumn. so (ironically) there is also an aspect of melancholy about it as we mark Lughnasadh, midpoint between Beltaine and Samhain.

  • i love this song i wish it was already lughnasadh

  • My anniversary is Lughnasadh and its just one of my favorite holidays. I love this song!

  • Oh congratulations! It's a good time to get married. I was handfasted on Litha myself.

  • Ironic that this beautiful music has 288 views, while some stupid debates over Wicca and absolutely fake rituals have so many views....

  • @kalacs32 IF U HAVE A RELIGON LIKE PAGAN WHAT MAKES U THINK WICCA IS FAKE

TOUR NOT A REAL PAGAN CUZ THE ONES I KNOW DONT JUDGE OTHER RELIGONS

BTW THIS SONG SUKCS AND THAT GUY CANT SING

  • @ASHLEYDEALUX I didn't say Wicca is fake, I AM Wiccan. I said a lot of people upload rituals that are "fluffy bunny" rituals without any understanding on how things work. I also said I hate the meaningless, hateful debates over Wicca, not Wicca itself, of course! And please, refrain from typing in full-capital.

You realise you just criticized this Wiccan song just cause you got angry because you misunderstood my message, even though you were preaching about being open, don't you?

  • @kalacs32 it has 22,296 now :P

  • @303msmissy Well, now that's better :P.

  • @kalacs32 yup.

  • Not really my kind of music, even in the topic of pagan music, still so special, fills with energy. I just totally love it! Thanks for the uploader, it was a long time ago when I last heard top-quaility pagan music :).

  • I love this!

  • Awesome. I really love Damh the Bard, well what I've heard from him thus far, anyways.
