They are born gay, and their lifestyle is not immoral because it does not interfere or cause harm to the lives of others. Slowly but surely the people of this country are begining to realize this. No I'm not the hateful one. Just as you use the bible to discriminate against gays, it has also been used to discriminate against women and blacks. The Bible has been used for good causes and bad causes of the course of history. No I dont hate god, his holy word, or "morality", I dislike the people that abuse it.

You have created a 'false god' in your mind to suit yourself. This is not the God of the Bible. God has set the standards for moral behavior, and He says homosexuality is an abomination. You may not hate the false god you have created in your mind, but you do hate the one and only true God of the Bible.

Sorry Strange, but you are the one picking and choosing here... you quote Leviticus 18:22 (part of the Law of Moses) and Jesus said "It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law." (Luke 16:17) yet when I say 'Since Leviticus Chapter 19 says crossbreeding of animals and crops is not allowed, you don't eat tangelos or drink Tropicana, and since mixed fabrics are a no-no you don't wear polyester or cotton blends..." your response will be?

Who does decide what is right or wrong? Sure, you can follow biblical rules, but pushing your standards on others is not what God would want you to do. After all, Paul told his jewish brothers that the culture of their Greek/Roman brothers should be respected.
Besides that, what is our guarantee that our current translation is correct? I've done some studying. Seems like the condemnations for homosexuality are little more than educated guesses. It gave me a lot to think about.

The AFA is an institution using the bible as an excuse to raise money for an organization claiming family values but the real value they hold are entirely religious.
I'll stand firm on the fact that they care more about preventing a loving couple from marrying and raising their children by equal means, than they do about a dysfunctional family that is on the verge of divorce.

If you read the Bible through thouroughly, you will see that homosexuality is condemned, and God is not for it. As a Christian, I try my best not to hate people, I love all people, and what I stress is, hate the sin, but not the sinner. A accept gay people as human beings, but I do not accept their homosexuality, and yes I do know and have friends who are not straight. Love helps bring people back to God. Homosexuality is a choice, it has been proven by doctors that you cannot be born gay.

Okay i'll have to agree to disagree but i do beleive people are born gay. Iv seen many children over the years as young as 6 with alot of stereotypical gay qualities even through their speech and by the age of 16 their fully out. Also i am not gay and theres nothing in my brain makeup which could possibly allow me to feel the same way towards a woman as i do towards men which to me means it isnt a choice a minority of people have that in them but the majority don't and i don't beleive in judging

Note that the word which is translated with "homosexuals" literally means "man bedders", and is translated in some bibles as "men who lie with men".
Thus the solution is easy in its answer (though difficult in its execution); abstinence.
