  • do you mean the child its energy investment?

  • @ionrocket That's one way to think about it. Others, such as American Goethe scholar Karl Fink, view the child as a precipitate of the chemical reaction. The important point to remember is that a certain amount of the kinetic energy of movement in the initial state gets transformed into two new types of energy: (a) work output and (b) new bond energy. To explain energy investment in the child, we would have to draw out a bigger reaction mechanism, and look into the details of the picture.

  • @HumanChemistry101 I know this isnt classy but do you mean two peoples sex energy plus the chemical enegry in fertilizing to make a child?

  • @ionrocket That’s part of it, but more correctly Gibbs free energy is the “big picture” on going or transforming between two states (points in time) of human existence. In simple terms, a male will get the basic idea that he wants to have sex with a hot female; the female, likewise, will get the basic idea that she wants to marry a hot respectable male. A lot of energy and preparation will go into this endeavor over a number of years. The work output of his total energy is Gibbs free energy.
