I sat in a Liverpool bar one night. This guy came up to me- he was a friend of the guy I was meeting. He said that Loyalism needed people like me. I asked him why he wasn't a "person like me". also in the 80's, a lot of Chelsea lads followed Rangers through europe, as English clubs were banned from competing in european competitions because of heysel. many of our fans still get together, and we have had a couple offriendlys recently were our fans got together before the game for drinks and songs, so yes, ourclubs do have links. still laughing? origins? well in the 60's and 70's, it was pretty common for crowds to chant for Rangers of Celtic at games, after the I.R.A. bombings, many of the Chelsea faithful saw Celtic as sympathetic to the I.R.A., and began to chant for Rangers, and support them. in the 80's, many fans started going to each others games, and our firm sometimes went north to help out there lads in row's. The clubs started playing each other in friendlys, one was for the Bradford stadium fire.
