41 videos after and i can revive the feeling of man and machine vs the nature, other disciplines are great too, but who dont love to remember the good oooooold days where group b cars cross the lands of portugal?! yup im from portugal dont judge me, blame the cars =D
Rallying has lost its magic these days and in my opinion,you cannot blame loeb for dominating or the manufactures.the race format of today is simply wrong.back in the day they crossed whole countries and raced in stages they had never seen before.rallies where tougher(safari,akropolis),more exciting to watch and unpredictable.
@eloria1965 Trouble is with rallying nowadays is only two teams ford and citroen, so no real competition, and every year the stages are the same, which allows drivers like Loeb to know the stages soo well that they wont crash and each year get faster and faster. Need new stages each year to keep it fresh. And also what annoys me is when stages get cancelled due to weather. I remember once in Cyprus, which shud hav been nice and hot, the stage was cancelled due to heavy flash floods.
@arteddie i rember that too!same happens in F1 these days...as for the manufacturers,if wrc was interesting again people would watch it.More people watching=more revenue for teams=more teams in wrc!it's a circle.but for sure they should change stages more often and not run twice the same.and why not racing through hole countries as they once did?

And the WRC i still interesting and is one of the worlds largest spectator sport, even if its not as gd as it was, and it still has huge numbers of people watchin either from the side of the road and on TV. But what killed the teams such as Subaru was the recession. And the repeated stages on each event and each year is annoying. But lets see what 2011 brings with the new cars and also the new team which is Mini. Lets hope we get some gd action.

2:30 I read somewhere that WRC crews would find severed fingers lodged on the cars cos spectators are trying to touch them while they're flying by!
