Brandy is so hearfelt. I just love her! Her new song "Right Here (Departed)" is amazing if you haven't heard it yet, it's a must buy for sure :)

to all those people who are comparing brandy and beyonce i'll have you to know that like someone else mentioned they are both great enetertainers in all their fileds Beyonce is different in brandy as to where she is an entertainer like james brown she puts on a show when she performs as to where brandy purges her soul with a song like mentioned earlier they are two different artist from two different times but they are both phenomonal

what I do miss about RNB is how the singer would sing and HIRE other people to do the work of dancing....i MISS THAT BECAUSE when you have an artist running around holding AEROBICS CLASS, you lose alot of their beautiful package. RNB artists these days remind me of downsized workers. ya na'ah mean? Its like they doing 3 jobs instead of just sing! We need the singin' back yall. Let the dancers dance.

Honey, I am the same age as Brandy and a little older than Beyonce!! Branndy's album sold 66,000 the 1st week!?! Just face it Beyonce has taken over and she is a stellar vocalist and performer. Brandy, Monica and Aaliyah together is what Beyonce is! I used to love Brandy back in the day!

I hear that. This is such a fantastic song, with so much potential, one of Diane Warren's best ballads ever - and its WASTED on Brandy's hopelessly thin, powerless voice. Such a superb song should have been given to a more worthy singer. Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Christina Aguilera all come to mind.

Firstly I'd hardly call Brandy's voice 'hopelessly thin', and 'powerless'! Brandy is among the most respected singers in the world..as a young girl she had vocal runs that would send chills to the likes of Whitney, and Chaka Khan..where have you been. Secondly singing isn't always about power, it's as much about emotional expression, and deliverance- reason why the song was cut clearly for her by Diane in the first place...oh and wasn't it #1, and a HUGE hit back in '99? Some ppl!!!
