wonderful video! i'm a fan of both Koyaanisqatsi and the GTA series. Doesn't it seem like our perspective in GTA is similar from the the viewer's perspective in the Koyaanisqatsi films? Observers from outside, viewing a world we are not from. Your video highlights that sense pretty well!  Thanks!

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV contained a song called 'Pruitt Igoe' from the 1982 film KOYAANISQATSI.

The style of the trailer mimicked the 'Pruitt Igoe' portion of the film. Serch the "gta iv trailer" then watch the "Pruitt Igoe KOYAANISQATSI" and you will understand. get it? got it? good.

if you'll notice in the trilogy and the original 2 games, the guys run exactly the same.

take gta 3, and put in top dow view, and run. youll notice how similar it is to the first ones, and in san andreas, hold the right stick all the way up until its overhead view, and,it also, runs the same as the originals.
