  • Great version of this song. Of course his playing is spectacular, but his singing does it for me more than anything else.

  • Holy fuck, I was looking for a backing track and I casually clicked this and IT BLEW MY FUCKING MIND AND MELTED MY FACE OFF!!!!!!

  • @Horaciow14 welcome to the club

  • Un Blues cojonudo. La buena musica es eterna. Salud para todos

  • Pues Slow no es, pero está excelente :D

  • tres tres beau ce morceau,j'aime Ten Years After depuis plus de 25 ans

  • This is one of the greatest guitarist that never received the the credit he deserved. Top quality all the way!

  • One of the BEST bands EVER!

  • Best of the best! You rock Alvin!

  • Alvin Lee, your the man. More poeple need to know. this is the best. teach your children.

  • and they said eric clapton was fast... THIS is a fast blues player

  • @hawkdoonz: I am quite sure it's Alvin's Gretsch he had at Woodstock, no 335...

  • Mr.Lee seems to know where all those notes are...."there are only two kinds of music, good and bad." Louis Armstrong said that

  • Excelente rola del maestro Mayall

  • Truth and Blues... Life and Reasoning. How can you falter the truth in this music? The answer is you cannot. Accidental squeakage and Plato's plateau all swept aside....

  • diggin

  • Amazing version. To me this is Alvin's best song. A work of pure brilliance and a great solo!

  • and they weren't kids any longer but they'll go to their graves younger than most and that's a great keyboard bit by Chick who actually stole alot of the thunder in TYA's 'Undead' in 'Going Home' live in that small(assumed) club in London and if that wasn't the wickedest guitar solo what is?

  • Slow but packed.

  • I don't care what you say. The drummer is ruining the solo by bashing the cymbals like he's really jamming. Noise. Not tasty at all. Not bluesy at all. More like hard rock. I agree it's a blues based solo. But typical of guitar slinging blues playing wanna be's

  • SUPER ! !

  • Blues On!! Long live TYA (Ten Years After)

  • I never Stevie influenced him I said Hendrix said Hendrix. And the drummers is fucking up these blues. It's rock and it's noise.

  • @awesomeair Get lost dude, I don't see any of yer shit here....Any idiot can play a CD

  • @awesomeair Ok,but Alvin's playing has nothing at all to do with Hendrix's stile....no hendrix influence ,and they started about the same time.

  • when can i come around oneeyedold fatman ....the blues won't never die

  • fucking good - but not slow at all!!

  • Alvin Lee is a fucking wizard

  • thanks to the people that makes the blues still alive.

  • I got to say A.L. is with the best of em. But, I agree with alex lifeson of rush....so many the great performances of the seventies were lost by inept camera men / directors who would invariably show a congo drummer, the spastic bass player, the pick hand (exclusively) anything but how a great guitarist is fingering this masterpiece- like some trade secret we can't show. thank God for Alex Lifeson who respects the up and comers those trying to craft- and is not afraid to show how it is done.

  • I prefer the Rock n Roll stuff but everything he plays sounds good. Alvin Lee is an amazing talent IMHO. Great Video.

  • Great!!!!!!!!!

  • a cup of coffee roll a fatty kick back an start the day out right hope to some day have them play just for me hell you all can come party with a old man an listen to some great jam's Alvin has always been one of the most under rated guitar players out there but not in my world he is the best

  • FANTASTICI!!!!

  • Alvin, The King of Fst Finger Guitar!!

  • so damn good

  • Alvin lee was 17 years old when he" blew away all" "man this kid is way better than i at his age" at Woodstock with ten years. these are direct quotes from both Carlos Santana and Pete Townsend. Lee is one of the finest guitarist ever and English, nuff said.

  • Alvin Lee is one of the most underated blues players around. Great technique and tone.

  • alluring, smooth, just plain nice, thanks for sharing.

  • sweet

  • Deliiiii... ciosooo!! wruaaaaaaaaam!! luv ya!

  • good guitar, rock drummer though. too much cymbal bashing over the solo. just like most stevie, hendrix influenced wanna be blues bands.

  • @awesomeair alvin lee was around ten years before stevie so how can stevie influence him

  • @awesomeair Do you have any clue who Ten Years After is??

You must be some very young know-it-all.

  • @awesomeair Do a little research....Listen to a few other TYA numbers. When they were the first to sell out MSG Stevie was....well, not around yet.

  • good blues guitar, but like most wanna be blues bands the drummer is a rock drummer and after awhile it just turns to noise. too much cymbal bashing all over the solo. not tasty at all. sorry.

  • you can solo in C major and minor blues scale

  • you can solo in C major and minor pentatonic scale

  • This is the proof that music does not care about colour, race, cultural background otr whatsoever if one is open minded and does not limit him-/herself

  • @Mischtchratzer Exactly. Three greatest guitarists ever = Alvin Lee, Carlos Santana and the Master Himself, Jimi Hendrix. White, brown and black, and yet...who cares?

  • @Bozohotep agreed... but you forgot Stevie Ray Vaughan.... :-)))) ohh and of course Buddy Guy.....

  • @Bozohotep sorry.. and Rory Gallagher, B.B. King.. and some more... hehehehehee

  • Sorry guys I'm new but what is the progression for this song? is it C F G? How would I go about playing this so that my friend can solo over it?

  • @thedonace213 Play it like a 12 bar blues over those chords?

  • You should use the I, IV and V of the scale.. obviously the mayor scale of C.. so it would go like you said C, F, G..

  • definately one of the most greatest blues ever played,,,,, thanks for sharing

  • great video

  • 1983 ;)

  • Anybody know what year this is??

  • Alvin Lee: great songwriter and very good and cool guitar player and singer. Alvin/Ten Years After never got the recognition they deserve. My favorite LP: A Space in Time.

  • Did Alvin Lee and Eric Clapton ever do anything together..seems a natural combo, they would have a similar catalogue of heroes & influences?

  • "the guitar of alvin is V8"

    awesome ten years after,

thanks for upload the video brother!!!

  • Классно ребята зажигают!Балдежная виртуозная манера исполнения!

  • MARQUEE was never in the standards of W3C! Just kidding... :-) if anybody understands... :-)

  • Dayuumm

  • huijaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa canejooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

  • Great blues, awesome band. But I need to say, that isn't slow... :D

  • it is slow for alvin lee :D

  • @gadeia102030

    It's slow for Alvin :D

His solos are so damn fast :D can't get enough of his solos : )

  • Oh Hell Yes!

  • alvin lee awesome one of the best of all time check out my channel for more

  • makes you wanna get down n dirty

  • One of my favorites

  • Yeah man, that`s real music! Blues is handmade and honest...
