  • uuhhhhhhh i like the video but the music is just uuggghhh annoying.

  • That is beast. Do you have a tutorial?

  • What chassie did you use here? I know the top is from Ertle

  • HOW, in other words where did you get the motor w/ chassie???

  • MUTE!!! :'(

  • Man, that's awesome! I love the way you converted that ERTL Godred into a real-working model! Once again, my friend, you never cease to amaze me.

  • WHAT THE?!

  • What is the music in this video?

  • @andrewau1993 Never Give Up, but in Japanese, I think.

  • Looks Great!

  • press 4 for "eeh shitty"

  • what's with the retarded song

  • who are the mountain engines eg culdee godred

  • @the7walls Read the Railway series book "Mountain Engines"

  • GENIOUS!

  • @MrTrainman12- Never Never Give up.

  • godred is scraped :(

  • awsome ertl looks way better than take along could you make a catherine ?

  • I never understood why the engines need two faces.

  • @super58173 The face on the front serves the engine when going uphill. The face on the back is for the engine to see the track and area behind itself when going downhill. That way, the engines can see in both directions clearly and can keep an eye on the track, to prevent slippage and accidents, like rolling downhill too fast.

  • godred lookin in carraige "hello"

baby "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa" godred "shesh i only said hello"

  • nice, i like the way you gave him a tilted body, cool piston's rack in middle of track

  • Comment removed

  • great detail!! tilted boiler, the rack in the middle of the track and the pistons!

  • Topkazfat is japanese.

  • He would suit Hiro for KTTE

  • Japanese

  • I see. But what song is this, and what language is it in?

  • "Never Never Never Give Up". (Japanese)

  • That Godred you've got, is it by Hornby, Bachmann, or Loinel?

  • It's an ERTL Godred on an HO chassis.

  • Its actually running on 12mm/TT scale track ;)

  • scrub that typo its actually 10 *hits myself*

  • It's an ERTL Godred on an TOMIX HO scale chassis.

  • HOn3.

  • I don't think it's Tomix.

  • godred looks kinda strange. id just du wat u did 2 culdee

  • omg how did you get such a motor? :O and why is he kinda leaning forwards

  • He is leaning over cause he's built to go up large, steep, mountains!

  • It was done to keep water over the fire box at all times.

  • actually, the engines on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which are the basis for the Culdee Fell Railway engines, do not tilt forward.

  • They do, I have been there several times, and both steam and diesel locomotives lean forwards slightly.

  • if you see the engines on the Snowdon Mountain Railway (visit the site) you'll notice that only the boiler tilts forward.

and the illustration you mainly see Culdee in, his boiler is the only thing tilting.

AND the illustration mainly seen with Godred in it, only the boiler tilts.

  • you should take the illustrations with a pinch of salt. Believe me mate, I know. The tanks are like that on the real thing. The only non-tilted items on the Snowdon Mountain Railway are the ill-fated railcars.

By tilting the engine, weight distribution is equal, making it easier to go up and down the mountain.

  • i got ertl cuidee and a lord harry

  • are these engines hard to convert to 009 gauge topkazfatt? i plan in building my own little narrow gauge moutaoin railway and by the way love all the engines u have built! 1000/5

  • Is this 009?

  • from take-along version ?

  • ERTL

  • Comment removed

  • omg i want ERTL godred...maybe can do something like this.

  • that is really cool. i love the rack and pinions.

  • All he needs to do is rewheel the mountain coaches.

  • Godred going up and down the mountain. He must be trying not to Never Never Never give up

  • Oh. I mean hes not giving up

  • I added this to my favorite cause the song is catchie

  • Nice music. Japanese Never Never Never give up

  • Felix Cheng's sister will be Godred in Eli the tank engine and she'll be red

  • Changed my mind. They will all be Purple like in the book

  • UH whats up?I think your computer is broken

  • I was traveling just until recently in the U.K.

  • Is that the Ertl model of Godred, with a motor?

  • Yes

  • Schafbergbahn(HOn3)'s Motor

  • The reason why the mountain engines are slanted is because the back wheels are bigger than the front ones.Other than that; they look like others

  • exellent, i really think you shud film your own version of the mountian engine storys?

  • I thought you hated Thomas and said it was for "fags"?

  • it is, for anyone over 8. I member having one of them as a kid, and its cool how he converted it.

  • Cool work on the side rods, and Godred's body seems to be titled forwards. LOL

  • Because He IS tilted forwards

  • the reason that is because when he goes up a hill he tilts doesnt he so the boiler is tilted downwods so the water doesn't expose the fire fox so godred does'nt explode

  • @joeboy656 WELL IF YOU PUT IT THAT WAY

  • the culdee fell engines had frames level with the track.

  • Yes, it's Japanese Never Never Give Up.

  • is this the japanese version of the thomas song never never give up.

  • Yes

  • Can you send me one of those or send me the tool i need to modify ERTL models?????

  • Sorry, no interest.

  • i want that

  • I'm impressed 999%!

  • Thank you!

  • holy shizz, where is the rack and pinion track from? is the loco converted from the toys? good work by the way, ive always wanted a rack and pinion railway, but noone in the UK makes it.

  • I bought it in Japan, imported from Austria.

  • Fleishmann do Rack track. its a little on the uhh... expesive side if i remember right...

  • Thank you for all.

Check my blog or my latest favorite video.

  • Cool!

  • awesome!

  • Amazing! Can you do Ernest (No. 2), Wilfred (No. 3), Shane Dooiney (No. 5), Alaric (No. 7) and Eric? That way you could make a TV adaptation of Mountain Engines.

  • Nice kit, good inclined track! When will you modify the ETRL coaches?

  • How did you make him slanted and the wheels.LOL,5/5.

  • The song "Never Never Give Up" sounds funny in Japanese.

  • Amazing is the word!

  • awesome 5/5

  • How do you make these models? And I know this has already been said, but did you a problem with Godred to make look the way he did.

  • I'm impressed that the song "Never, Never, Never Give Up" had a Japanese version.

I wonder, why did you make Godred look tilted?

  • That's great work!!!!

    Funny song!

Is that Ertl? If so, they're rare and could be worth a fair bit!

  • Thank you!

Yes, ERTL. I had it for some time.

  • cool! I have all three Ertl Mountain Engines- Godred, Culdee (but missing a wheel) and Lord Harry!

  • Sorry! I had mistaken. That is not OO9. HOn3(means HO scale 10.5mm gauge).

  • That is simply amazing! What chassis did you use?

  • I will follow up that on my blog.

    Please wait a little.

  • Well done. i have my godred model working. It not as good as this one. i cant get my computer to find my dv camera. Thus i cant add new movies =(

  • Thanks!

  • Are u planning to do this to Culdee and Lord Harry as well?

  • Now thinking.

Some problems give me trouble. Gauge, Shape, Money...etc.

  • lol

  • WOW!!! THATS AMAZING
