@TheOldschool81 wrong. its the mark 2. it was a prototype for the mark 3. iron mans suit for the first movie. hes using the mark 4 with the upgraded chestpiece in iron man 2. along with the portable iron man mark V suit which gets destroyed by whiplash. but the mark 2 EVENTUALLY turns into the war machine. but its not war machine in the pic. its the mark 2. if it was a pic of war machine, i would stand corrected, but its not. it is the mark 2. just sayin.

It's probably the most funniest Marvel movie accept X-men but for overall best probably not.

The only thing that I could honestly say I like about this Marvel movie in particular is they went into full detail about how

In the movie tony changed the material from steel to a gold-titanium alloy to make it stronger and lighter, thats why it was golden. He then had it painted with hot rod red to make it look better.

Mark 3 Could generally look the exact same way as the MARK 2 if only it werent painted its design is roughly the same the mark 2 was built specifically for flight potential testing and therefore has greater mobility and speed than the mark 3 in comparrison if it were outfitted with the thrusters of the mark 3.But the basic upshot of all this is that the MARK 3 would look cooler without the paintjob.
