Keep in mind that they did find that many of the police working in Guyana during the time of this attack had affiliations with gangs. The term was also used to describe chinese labour in the US. Guyana has descended into an economic meltdown rivalled only be Haiti in the Caribbean region. I heard in the 60's the Guyana project was started to clean up streets in America. The politicians got together and started funding the move of family's from the inner cities of undesirables not true. The Gov't is currently dealing with the torture case and the president did condemn the act. In 2002, the PNC orchestrated a jail break and supplied the escaped criminal with stolen assault rifles. These Gunmen killed and tortured many innocent people, mostly Indians. Roger Khan, a drug lord, helped to put an end to the bloody rampage of these criminals. Now the PNC is at it again, they've recently burned down the health ministry and attempted to do the same to the high court.

As you probably heard there have been masacres to innocent people by gangs in Guyana and it would not be the first time the PNC used violence in their campains...Eg. the death of Waler A. Rodney...althouugh you are right Roger Khan is a drug lord and may only have helped for selfish reasons but he did help prevent many deaths in Guyana.
