@SuperWhiteWiddow... a few things (1) its a mazdaspeed 6, (2) import beats muscle anyday. besides some muscle. (3) and its it sounds nice compared to thoughs lame ass straight pipes you usually put on a muscle and thats what make them gay.. but not in a rude way.

You know the Mazdaspeed6 is typically faster than Mustangs? Except maybe the new 2009/2010 Mustang, but hey Mazdaspeed6s were made from 2006 to 2007 and they're faster than 2006/2007 Mustangs ;)

It definitely sounded a lot better in person...it is hard to capture the sound it actually produced without a more professional recording setup...to your point about the mazda 3, this setup would probably only sound the same or similar if the car were the mazdaspeed3 as the engine as you probably know is the same in both cars...since the turbo ultimately effects the sound of an exhaust system, a normal 4 cylinder with this muffler setup, will definitely not sound quite as low and aggressive

In this video the exhaust is only running on the passenger side, later I changed to a test pipe and the magnaflow setup...I don't have the speed anymore, I now have an 05 Mustang GT which will soon have a HP Performance turbo setup on it...

My pops got a 3 in exhaust on the passenger side of his speed6. it sounds very very nice!!!! Depends on on the car its mounted on. It hauls ass!!!

Well, if your pipe is too large you lose velocity on the exhaust gasses, which can hurt low end torque a little if you aren't doing anything else to improve performance. On carburated engines it could make the engine run lean too, but you shouldn't have to worry about that on today's cars.

the accepted standard exhaust size for boosted cars is 3-4 inches, no boost keep it below 2.75 inches. Just a rule of thumb.
