Actually, it was even in the movie but they had to cut it out for time.

But yeah, he supposedly did it in Prison with help from his 'friends' (those criminals he befriended in jail) and using Gertrude Vanderworth (the old millionaire woman) to make it seem Krypton was alive. The hope was that the Kryptonite there would kill him, but his ship protected him.

I believe although cut from the film, it was expanded in the four 'prequel' comics DC put out for Superman Returns.

Not necessarily, I think any character is only as interesting as the story he's in. I think if they focus on writing a good story and not get wrapped up in showcasing his powers they might have something worth while.

Of course the PS3 is better- it's a more powerful machine than it's older brother.

But the PS2 is capable of so much more than this appaling attempt as a movie tie-in.

It doesn't help that the Superman design for the game made him look like he bulging with steroids.

If you've played Metal Gear Solid 3, or the more recent Final Fantasy games- there's proof that the PS2 can be used to make far more realistic character models.
