This is the only Dredg song I don't like (except the last 2 min of it on the album). This version is at least somewhat tolerable. Sorry, it just sounds like the theme song to a WB TV show.
This is what makes Dredg so great live. It's the fact that they can go back and experiment with old songs, adding new ideas into their work, not too mention their ability to improv onstage.

The live version does sound like u2. The studio version, I don't think sounds anything like u2. But, yeah, good observation.

That's a pretty bold statement, I mean Dredg seems to be a pretty good band, but regardless of U2s take on themselves, they have about
50 bajillion fans, and have many many huge albums. Im not even a fan, but I know not to mess with U2, as pretentious as they may be.
