the sad ipod thing means your ipod is broke, you need to try to restore your ipod by rebooting it.

U don't have to do all that just click the "+" sign at the bottom of the safari screen and then go onto the website u want it to be on (before clicking on the + icon) and while clicked on the "+" icon it should say add to homepage click it and it will add to your screen as a app ! an ssh program is a program that allows you to enter in to your Ipod touch's/Iphone files... you can do just about anything to your ipod with this BUT your ipod MUST be jailbroken (if you don't know what that is just Google it )

WinSCP is a great windows SSH program but if on a mac use Fugu or Cyberduck (Google them)
