The large keys not bottoming out very loudly is due to the fact that the Poker uses Cherry stabilizers for it's stabilized keys. This is different from say a Filco that uses Coster Stabilizers. Some prefer the Coster stabilizers but mostly it is a matter of personal preference.
Bought one b/c of your video! i Get mine on december 1st with expedited shipping (i also ordered some blank white pbt keycaps to get either your setup or ALL white keyes ala Apple look kind of? VERY excited, thanks for the video and great review!
@Kimftw great to hear that you decided to pull the trigger on this keyboard! i'm glad that my video helped, hope you have a great time with the poker =)
Are you worried with the exposed pcb underneath the keys getting dirty over time? Or something falling between the keys and shorting/damaging the pcb? Thanks.
@Muldoonite Yes this is a legitimate concern. In short, however, no I'm not worried. The fact that the PCB is directly accessible as well as the fact that the keycaps are removeable really makes cleaning dust off the PCB a breeze. Having said that, I haven't found the need to clean it at all up until now, and I don't even use a plastic cover for it. If I do run into technical difficulties related to shorting/damage to the PCB, I'll post it here, but I really don't envisage it being a problem!
@amillionapm I'm currently debating whether I should get a keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches, or the Topre switches. Which, among the Poker and the Realforce that you have, is better for comfort and typing speed?
@rayray097 In terms of comfort, certainly the Topre. I still find that I type faster on Cherry MX keyboards though, for some reason. Maybe I haven't become accustomed to the variable weighting on the Realforce yet. Overall though, I would prefer the Topre, not because I paid more for it but because I do like the feel of the Topre switches more.
@DerpDerpProductions I have this same keyboard (did you get from geekhack?) anyway I've played it on SC2 and it's solid. FN + numbers for F-keys but I don't really use f-keys as I am zerg and hardly have lazy drones. When I play terran though I need the ctrl + F1 to get the scv's but whatever! Anyway, since you don't use tilde in SC2, you can lock the esc key to left of 1 and that's okay for canceling.
Great review, check out my brief video as well on the Poker. I like your white keys. ftw!
@DerpDerpProductions Agree with aznguyen316, no problems playing Starcraft because I don't really use the F keys very much. No issues playing FPS games either. It is a great keyboard for gaming because it 'feels' fast, there is no impedence on the downstroke which makes it feel very responsive. I wouldn't worry too much about accidental keypresses; you get used to the weight quickly enough.
how do the cherry style stabilizers feel with reds? do they make the stabilized keys feel mushy at all or anything?

@Kimftw His keys were not blank. They just had white lettering on white keys. You could still see the letters.

What's the KBC Poker model with the BLUE color PCB ?

The keys don't actually bottom out on the PCB. They Bottom Out on the actual switch. Just like any other keyboard with Cherry MX Switches

Excellent review of the Fn functions. I just purchased a Poker with PBT caps(red lettering) and red switches.
