Sold my Monaro VXR a few months ago and boy do I miss it. It was unreliable as hell... I owned it for 3yrs from new and had courtesy cars for approx 18 months of that time! But I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Had the same exhaust conversion as the car in this video plus mental audio and various other performance tweeks. Gotta agree though with certain comments - the set-off and shifting here was pretty poor!!

@R7shandil E90 is newer then the monaro. A 4 door VXR8 is as fast to 60 as an E90 m3. The brakes on the e90 are, like all M cars, poor.

V8 vs inline 6 no wonder, the holden commodore HSV has about the same preformance as the BMW M5, for those that don't know the monaro is just a 2 door commodore and the HSV (Holden special vehicle) is the top line of them

@Danielhsv0 I like the LS9 but not sure if the chassis can handle it. There needs to be ESP on board to cope with the torque and power. THe normal one has a 5 spd manual or 4 sp auto, I mean 4 sp auto??? Come on. Holden didnt have the sport shift tiptronic until the VE came along in 2006. To me ESP and a nice ZF auto will do the trick.
