I have the DSLR version and the mirror has already fallen off only after a few weeks of receiving it and only using it twice. The downside of this product is that you can see your arm stretched foward in the picture. However, I still recommend this product. If you have a Canon camera, you can make a CHDK USB remote switch rather than using a timer (there is also a guy that makes and sell them for $20 plus $1 for each additional meter).
