The cause of all the distortion on this home made clip is due to the cheap mic on the cam. It can not handle the decibels that the PA was putting out. If the video cam had an adjustable gain on the mic, the guy who filmed this could have possibly cleaned up the recording by turning down the gain or trim on the his or her video recorder.

By far the greatest rock concert I've ever seen. No exaggeration. Wolfie was beyond amazing, especially in Panama and Dance The Night Away. He didn't make a single mistake that I heard, for that matter. I've already got tickets to see them again. Way too good to miss.

I saw them last night at Nassau Coliseum, NY, OMG... I've waited forever for DLR to return, He is Van Halen, Amazing Vocal's, he's still got it & some. What a true showman. You can tell they're happy to be back together, they all complement each other. Awesome Drum solo Alex!!, Eddie your the epitome of Guitar solo's, Wolfgang, good luck in your career, It's grueling, but worth it every show. You did your Father proud.
C'mon Wolfie....Give Us A Break! And quit fucking up a good song. You'll have Dad falling off the wagon before the tours over with you stressing him out by never getting your lines right.
I miss MA in the lineup, but I know Wolfie is doing his best. These are some real "kick ass" shows. It's great to see Eddie and Dave back together after all these years.

You don't have to be EVH to know that wireless has no affect on quality. He could use a curly cord on a banjo for all I care. There are so many variables in the line from strings,pickups,effects,batteries,mics,and so on. I just hate uninformed, selfapointed experts.
I have been playing for 20 years with that being my sole source of income for 3 years in Europe. I have my own PA and recording studio. I own 6 guitars and graduated from music school. What other requirements do you need. +Why did Ed and every other GT player on earth use wireless but he does 1 tour with a cord and you become a mindreader. What make you an expert?
Back in the day when I used to play, I had a Sampson wireless system and to my ear, the signal was a bit stronger and cleaner than with an old-school cord. Why Eddie doesn't use one is beyond me. But who am I to say he's wrong?

I saw them last night at Nassau Coliseum, NY, OMG... I've waited forever for DLR to return, He is Van Halen, Amazing Vocal's, he's still got it & some. What a true showman. You can tell they're happy to be back together, they all complement each other. Awesome Drum solo Alex!!, Eddie your the epitome of Guitar solo's, Wolfgang, good luck in your career, It's grueling, but worth it every show. You did your Father proud.

Two shows later in Philly Wolfie said it before Dave had the mic on him, and Dave said to the crowd "wait, wait - this is his big line" and held the mic up to him, and Wolfie blurted out "Dave gimme a break".
Nothing near as cool as how Templemansaid it on the record.

Eddie looks great! Dave looks great! Alex looks..like Alex! Disappointed that Michael's not there,not quite the same. As for the kid? Can't believe V Bertinelli is allowing her "baby" to travel w/ the world's greatest band EVER. That lifestyle...sex, booze, drugs, etc..but, getting to travel w/ your Dad as part of the world's greatest band EVER...that is SO badass! And, you can't deny the kid has talent. It's in his genes. He IS a Van Halen afterall. The band IS called VAN HALEN!!!!

During the Hagar years, they did play some Roth era tunes, but I couldn't imagine Roth singing any of the stuff off of 5150 and after; his voice isn't high enough, and I don't imagine that those songs would fit him.

You don't have to be EVH to know that wireless has no affect on quality. He could use a curly cord on a banjo for all I care. There are so many variables in the line from strings,pickups,effects,batteries,mics,and so on. I just hate uninformed, selfapointed experts.

I have been playing for 20 years with that being my sole source of income for 3 years in Europe. I have my own PA and recording studio. I own 6 guitars and graduated from music school. What other requirements do you need. +Why did Ed and every other GT player on earth use wireless but he does 1 tour with a cord and you become a mindreader. What make you an expert?

Back in the day when I used to play, I had a Sampson wireless system and to my ear, the signal was a bit stronger and cleaner than with an old-school cord. Why Eddie doesn't use one is beyond me. But who am I to say he's wrong?

Second, I think it was freagin great they did all the classic music!!! The best concert I have ever seen. I highly suggest you go see them, you won't be disappointed. And for all you Roth haters... Their is nothing like the "original recipe" Rock On guys!!!

Next thing: To me these HAGAR bashers must be about 10 or 12 years old, right? Both had HUGE influences on the sound of VH and they are definately NOT comparable. Also please notice the TIMES! Example: imagine HAGAR singing "On Fire" or "You`re no good" and ROTH "Why can`t this be love" or "Pleasure Dome", got it? Both decades were amazing and had timeless moments, remember that or continue your kidding bullshit without any clue.

You can see Ed look over before Wolfie talks, like "Is he going to screw this up?" Evidently Ed knew Wolf was nervous about doin this part. The kid's only 15...probably self conscious as hell. They'll probably get rid of his part on this one. Maybe they'll have Michael Anthony doing this part from a live remote in Cabo.
